About the adventure
WITH GREAT POWER: As an established group of heroes in a city of millions, it's your job to ensure their lives are undisturbed by any and all supervillains and nefarious plots. NIGHT APPROACHES: Help to save St. Damia from a cursed fate of perpetual evening, as a new cult have gathered around a shadowy figure, promising that the sun will never rise over St. Damia again. A POWERFUL ALLY: One reclusive hero has proven reluctant to join your group, stalking the alleys and rooftops at night. Darkwing and his young protege Nightboy are willing to help, but always in their way, and always at a cost. EXPLORE THE UNKNOWN: Help to craft the story behind one of Invincible's most mysterious and underdeveloped cities! BUILD-A-HERO: Choose from a variety of roles and tropes inspired by the Invincible universe and bring a unique hero to life in a world full of danger and consequences. BE INVINCIBLE: Invincible is a brand new TTRPG published by Free League, where you build a pool of d6s to unleash savage powers, whether that's super strength, flight, invisibility, energy blasts, and more! RULE OF COOL: Though the book's rules always have a place at my table, I will always decide in favor of what fits the narrative best! BEGINNER FRIENDLY: I've introduced dozens of players to a variety of systems and love to bring new people into my favorite hobby!

About me
Hello! My name is Jared (known online as Jerd) and I've been running and playing tabletop games since 2016. When a group of friends expressed interest in learning Dungeons & Dragons, I volunteered to DM a homebrew 5e game, which set me on a long and incredible path into gaming. During the pandemic, I took my hobby online and played almost daily. Though most of my TTRPG experience is in the fantasy genre (D&D 5e/5.5e, Pathfinder 2e, Daggerheart, etc.), I have also run World of Darkness systems including a Berlin-based Vampire: The Masquerade play-by-post (running now for 2+ years!), and newer systems like Outgunned and Shadowdark. I particularly enjoy horror games such as Mothership, Alien, and Candela Obscura.

Creating your character
- PDFS INCLUDED: As a player, you will be provided with the PDF for the rules and blank character sheets to fill out! You will be playing street-level heroes. - HAPPY TO HELP: If you have any questions or issues throughout drafting your character, let me know and I am happy to assist with any- and everything! - FREE SESSION 0: We will meet as a table to go over character relationships, backstory, and expectations! Billing will not begin until the first full session. - BACKSTORY DRIVEN: Though the narrative will have an overarching through-line, your PC's background, motivations, and relationships will drive the story.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need access to Discord for voice chats, dice rolling, and visual aides. I will provide the rules via PDF as well as blank character sheets, and provide maps and tokens via Owlbear Rodeo.
What Jared brings to the table
NO MATERIALS NEEDED: I will provide the core rulebook and character sheets for use! We'll go over character generation as a table, as this is a new system for everyone. FICTION FIRST: My tables are focused on the narrative, where rule of cool always plays a key role in deciding what happens. SETTING THE SCENE: I provide visual aides for locations, characters, maps, and more! Music references are provided but 100% optional.
