About the adventure
The Dragons of Stormwreck Island is a classic DnD adventure. You will start at level 1 and work your way up the ranks as you explore the island on which you landed. You'll meet interesting NPCs (non-player characters), fight monsters, and have lots of fun doing it. If you are a new player looking to try out DnD, this is the perfect adventure for you! At my table, I encourage you to have fun, ask questions, and try anything and everything. My favorite quote is "leap and the net will appear". So "leap" onto my table and let's play...unless it breaks. Hi, my name is Ryan. I am an Illustrator and veteran Improvisor from Los Angeles, CA, and I'm looking for players just like you! I encourage roleplaying and use my years of Improv experience to keep the game interesting, surprising, and FUN!

About me
Hello, everyone! My name is Ryan, and I am obsessed with D&D. I am a professional illustrator and improviser based in Los Angeles. I started my D&D career as a player about a year ago and instantly fell in love with this game, and I decided that the best way to share my enthusiasm was to start being a GM. I will be using these unique abilities to draw people to D&D and show them why it is the greatest game ever created.

Creating your character
• We will have a free Session 0 to discuss character options •Create a level 1 character using the new 2024 PHB with a standard array on DnDBeyond (I will share my 2024 PHB) • If you are still unsure about character creation, we can meet beforehand and create the character together!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
• Mic • Webcam (preferred but optional) • DnDBeyond for character sheets and rolls. • You can roll real dice too, if you like. I trust you (until you roll 5 Nat 20's in a row)!
What Ry-Guy brings to the table
• DnDBeyond for character sheets. • I use the Rule of Cool in my games. (If you want to do something in the game that sounds cool, we can bend the rules a little.) • Music to set the mood • I encourage my players to try new things with their characters (ie, voices, actions, etc) and to be bold with their choices • I do character voices and use improvisation to help build the world, set the tone, and give life to NPC characters. • My games are fun and loose. If you are looking for serious, hardcore, tactical fantasy, this is not the table for you.
Homebrew rules
• Rule of cool • All opportunity attacks are at disadvantage (I believe this allows more movement on the battlefield) • I use "Perfect Crit" rules (max dice + what you roll)
