About the adventure

Welcome to the world after the end. You know the story. The Old World ended in fire and ash, but humanity is just too stubborn to die out, and we clung to the edges of the Wasteland. We hid in bunkers, in shelters, and in the blasted ruins. We clawed our way back from the brink of annihilation. And then we did that most human of things: we squabbled over what industry and technology remained, and divided ourselves into new tribes, gangs, and governments to control what little remained. In the ruins of what used to be Flagstaff, Arizona, a new society has built itself upon the ruins of the old. Using Ancient Rome as a basis, Caesar's Legion has brought peace, stability, and commerce to Arizona. Truly, it is unfortunate that they took the worst parts of Rome, including the severe sexism, the regressive politics, and an agrarian economy fueled by slavery. Our story begins at a mustering ground just outside Flagstaff, as a Chain of prisoners in marched into the city...

About me

My name is Andrew, and I'm a lifelong tabletop gamer and GM. I played in my first campaign in 2010, with D&D 3e, and have been playing ttrpgs almost nonstop after that point. I can't recall a time in my life after that first campaign when I haven't had at least one campaign going at any given time. I GM'd for the first time in 2013, loved the experience, and have been running games since then. Beyond TTRPGS, my hobbies include writing, cooking, and recently needlework.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created during/after session 0. You are welcome to use any books you have, and should start as a level 1 character. All PCs should be human.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need to join a discord server, with link to be issued to the party during session zero.

What Andrew brings to the table

I do character voices and utilize ambient music. Historically, I have preferred to use Theater of the Mind for combat, though I am open to changing that if the party prefers (please communicate this to me during session 0). I believe the entertainment had by the group is more important that any rule, and so will modify, rewrite, and ignore rules as needed to entertain the group and keep the story moving forward. The priority here is for us to have a good time, and laugh at the outrageous nature of the Fallout universe.

Homebrew rules

As it stands, we are running this campaign RAW. I do, however, maintain the right to modify the rules at a later date, to better suit needs of the party.

Safety

How Andrew creates a safe table

Safety tools will be covered extensively during session 0. I maintain an open door policy via the group discord, which everyone will be invited to prior to session 0. I encourage frank discussion, and clear cut communication. My Lines & Veils document, aftercare details, and so forth will be covered then.
