About the adventure
This adventure is for experienced players and new players alike. The world, Entomoor, has been shaped by my players across several generations, and you are invited to continue to contribute to this living world! Become a pioneer returning to a corrupted surface that your civilizations escaped from a thousand years ago. Navigate the different factions and groups in the sky cities, their colonies and the various new groups that formed on the surface during your absence. Unravel lore and mystery, and discover what caused the ancient corruption all those years ago. Travel through new colonies, ancient ruins and nascent civilizations, while navigating dangerous, aberrant flora and fauna. Delve into ancient ruins in search of magic items and artifacts to offer as tribute appease the rulers of the sky cities, or surreptitiously attempt to keep them for yourself. Align yourself with factions while navigating deep moral and societal dilemmas, and weighing the impact your decisions have on the people of Entomoor! Contribute to the ongoing lore of Entomoor through your character's actions and become a part of the legend!

About me
I have been playing tabletop games since I was a teen. I have been DMing for 7ish years for several diverse groups. I love to build memorable campaigns with exciting characters, balancing serious high-stakes storytelling with silliness!

Creating your character
You can create any 2024 character build. Multiclass is allowed if respecting RAW rules. The choice of class and species could greatly affect the starting point and early story hooks. You may use any of the approved methods including: point buy, standard array or rolling stats, however stats must be rolled at the table in front of all players to ensure fairness.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need Roll20 as VTT and DND Beyond for character sheets and encounters, as well as either Zoom or Discord for chat. I do enjoy seeing my player's reactions and usually play on camera, but having camera is not required. Once added to my campaign, you will have access to all the necessary books for this campaign, and players are welcomd to bring content from other books, provided they are official DND 2024 releases. Please prepare a list of your personal boundaries (lines and veils) and a short background for your character, the full backstory will be determined through play in Session 0. Aside from background, please think about your character's connections, their goals, what kind of magic items they want and a reason why they would get in trouble in the sky city. Be creative, I am confident I can accommodate most ideas into the story! I will use this to raise your character's stakes in the world and create dynamic hooks to keep the whole party engaged!
What Lucas brings to the table
Entomoor is a loose framework I created several years ago that has been shaped by several different groups of players across the years! I am offering the chance to further contribute to the history and lore of this exciting and ominous environment. Expect mature themes (within player boundaries), political intrigue, mystery and exciting, dynamic combat! I am equally comfortable running an RP heavy campaign as a combat heavy one, although my default is 50/50. I like to focus on character's personality and goals to guide the story, based on how the players interact with them. Expect combat to be challenging as well as rewarding, offering each player opportunities to use their unique abilities in a satisfying way... if you can take a hint!
Homebrew rules
Entomoor is a fully homebrew world! I use the 5e 2024 ruleset with some homebrew options including crunchy crits, flanking and desperate measures, in addition to a plethora of exciting homebrew monsters and magic items tailored to players!

How Lucas creates a safe table
When you join, I will send you a safety document for you to outline all your boundaries, notify me of your playstyle and style preference, and any other important matters that will affect table synergy. Lines and veils will be established, and the story will be adjusted to suit the playstyle of each player!
