About the adventure
Fabula Ultima is a jrpg style ttrpg that evokes the feelings from games of the past like Octopath Traveler, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and the Secret of Mana. Highly customizable characters merging skills and spells from multiclassing and quick and easy gameplay. Players and GM work together to make a bespoke world, using ideas from media and forming a unique experience. This game will either be a world overrun by nature, like in Secret of Mana, or rebel adventurers fighting against some evil power that has taken over the world. New players are welcome especially those with interests in anime, video games and asian inspired old school gaming.

About me
Laid back and chill GM. Very knowledgeable about odd trivia and pieces of most culture and hobbies. Hobby-maniac and "altoholic." I enjoy running games for beginners and have tried various ttrpgs on different platforms. Wanted to check out StartPlaying system.

Creating your character
First session will be a session 0 where we build characters and the world together. We will follow the standard character creation rules in the rulebook. Array for stats and level 5 with 2 or 3 classes. Players may look ahead and decide a few options for their classes.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a discord account and microphone for talking, no video required. Players need a Forge account and will use Foundry VTT.
What Moose brings to the table
I provide voices, accents, ambient music, combat, and ideas from many forms of media. I mostly use Rules and Written, but will usually allow the Rule of Cool and do-overs for newer players.

No homebrew other than flavor.
