About the adventure

An alternate reality New York City (cinematic that is using New York as a placeholder but not following any real life events). 1924. Prohibition has transformed the city into a glittering nightmare of speakeasies, bootleggers, corrupt politicians, crooked cops, and Kindred ambition. For years, the Camarilla has kept its distance from New York. Now, that changes. The Ivory Tower is coming back. You have been chosen as part of the Camarilla’s effort to reestablish control over New York City. As Ancillae entrusted with this responsibility, you are expected to build something lasting. Establish domains. Secure feeding grounds. Forge alliances. Recruit loyal Kindred. Create a functioning Camarilla court. And, most importantly, establish a new Elysium where the city’s Kindred can once again gather beneath the protection of the Ivory Tower. But before any of that can happen, there is one matter to settle. Your superiors have arranged a meeting with an important Kindred contact who has remained in New York throughout the Camarilla’s absence. You have been instructed to make contact, establish terms, and ensure that your return does not create unnecessary complications. You aren’t being sent to conquer an unknown city. You’re being sent to reclaim one that was once yours. But New York has changed. Old alliances have rotted. New powers have risen. Someone has been keeping the peace in the Camarilla’s absence, and they have their own expectations regarding the Ivory Tower’s return. So step into the city. Take your place among its Kindred. Build your court. Open the doors of Elysium. And discover why the elders were so eager to let you handle the negotiations yourselves. The Camarilla is returning to New York. You are the ones who must make it home.

About me

Welcome, storytellers, schemers, and seekers of strange worlds! I’m a GM with 7+ years of experience crafting immersive, character driven stories across a wide variety of systems and settings. Whether you’re here for grimdark horror, noir intrigue, cosmic dread, or a chaotic romp through a world of wild adventure, I’ve got you covered. My greatest joy as a Game Master is creating a space where players feel empowered to shape the world and make bold, unforgettable choices. I’m deeply familiar with the World of Darkness in all its beautiful, brooding glory: Vampire, Mage, Hunter, Demon, Mummy, and more. From twisted political games in the night haunted cities to the haunting path of the Fallen, I know the splats, the lore, and the mechanics inside and out. But that’s just the beginning. I also run: • Dungeons & Dragons (5e & 3.5) • Pathfinder (1e & 2e) • Mutants & Masterminds • Masks: A New Generation • Blades in the Dark • Call of Cthulhu • …and a wide range of other indie and mainstream systems. If you’re curious about a system not listed, just ask. Odds are, I’ve played it, run it, or I’m game to dive in and make it happen. Tone wise, I have a strong love for dark, moody, and atmospheric stories, gothic horror, grim futures, supernatural conspiracies, but I’m just as comfortable with light hearted adventures, heists, pulp action, or comedic fantasy. I’m flexible and love collaborating with players to hit the tone you want. Mechanically, I believe in the Rule of Cool. If the dice are grinding momentum to a halt, I’ll bend things to keep the story flowing. That said, I respect the system and know when to let mechanics shine. I’m patient, open to questions, and always happy to guide newer players or offer narrative tools to veterans looking to go deeper. My tables are collaborative, inclusive, and story first. I’m big on session zero, safety tools, and making sure everyone’s voice matters, whether you’re a first time player or a decades long veteran. So if you’re looking for a GM who can: • Weave intricate plots with high stakes and rich lore • Pivot seamlessly between horror, humor, and heroism • Support your character’s personal journey while keeping the table engaged • And offer a professional, reliable, and player focused experience. Then let’s tell a damn good story together.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created during Session 0 using V20 rules and no revised books or true black hand book. Players should come prepared with a general concept for their vampire, but no finished character is required beforehand. Your character should be an Ancilla or an experienced Neonate with a reason to have been selected by the Camarilla for the return to New York. Consider your Clan, Generation, Sire, history, ambitions, and what you hope to gain from helping establish the new Camarilla court. Characters should fit the alternate history, Prohibition era noir setting. Think ambitious Kindred, detectives, criminals, socialites, fixers, soldiers, occultists, artists, or power brokers. During Session 0, we will work together to finalize sheets, establish connections between characters, discuss the city’s factions, and create shared elements of your characters’ histories.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All you’ll need is Discord, roll20 and a mic.

What Silas the Endless brings to the table

I’ll provide everything you need to enter our alternate New York: V20 character creation guidance, setting lore, maps, NPCs, artwork, handouts, and custom campaign material. I’ll handle the city, factions, mysteries, and consequences of your choices. You won’t need to memorize the lore. Your character will learn what they reasonably know as the story unfolds. Roll20 handles sheets and rolling, while Discord handles communication, chronicle information and anything else necessary.

Homebrew rules

There will be rules given for making Ancilla and special benefits.

How Silas the Endless creates a safe table

This chronicle uses Session 0, Lines & Veils, Open Door, and Breaks to help keep the game comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. During Session 0, we’ll discuss themes, boundaries, expectations, and any content players want to avoid or keep off screen. Lines are subjects that will not appear in the game. Veils are subjects that may exist but will be handled off screen or with a fade to black. The Open Door policy means you can step away from the game at any time without needing to justify yourself. Breaks will be available whenever needed, whether for a quick breather or to address something that came up during play. These tools are here to support everyone, not restrict the story. Player comfort comes first.
