The long ruling pirate lord Captain Blackstone's reign was threatened by a rising military force, the Navy. The navy is a military force comprised of former pirates turned military combatants. Its battalion is massive, spanning nearly 50 ships and 500 men. All under the watchful command of admiral Orion Silver. Hellbent on eradicating Orion's Legion, the Navy was besieged by Blackstone alone. many of their ships and men being annihilated in the wake of the pirate. The battle between the Admiral and the pirate lord is legendary and told in long tales and rumors, the only thing known for certain was the outcome. The Navy were victorious. About me

Hiya! Names Shrug / Tommy. Do you like over the top and down right goofy behavior? Well by god you have come to the right place! I've been playing RPGs since 2019 and have been addicted ever since. For me the hobby is entirely about fun. Be that role-play, drama, high stakes, low stakes or just taking a load off and rolling some dice. I highly encourage player freedom over all else. The rules, to me at least, are just a vehicle to have fun with a story we build together. I play Powered by the apocalypse games, D20 systems and my own game Beauty in Hell. Favorite Systems; Blades in the Dark. Heart the City Beneath Daggerheart Masks the next generation

Character creation

Creating your character

In Session 0 we will Go over the setting of the High Seas! In this session we create characters together, discuss what kind of game we’d like to play and go through some basic roleplay etiquette. If you are new to Dungeons & Dragons or would like more info about the campaign please feel free to message me. Starting at level 3 we will build your backstory together. We’ll use D&D Beyond just to speed up the process.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Games are played using Discord. Rules are covered in session zero. If you have any questions at all feel free to message me.

What Shrug (Tommy) brings to the table

I use czepku scenes to make the game really immersive. Along with of course a sick music playlist.

Homebrew rules

For now We will just be using 2024 rules as written. you can use 2014 characters if you like aswell. I am open to changes if there is snags.

Safety

How Shrug (Tommy) creates a safe table

I generally only use the x card system but for the campaign we can all fill out the RPG Consent checklist. I dont mind either way just to get a baseline of what we want from the campaign.
