About the adventure
Two days ago the town was shocked at the apparent attack at the amusement park when an explosion took place inside the hall or mirrors. The park was cordoned off by police as they started to investigate, but that night a blizzard struck the town..in the middle of summer. Everyone was warned to stay inside as the blizzard ravaged the town, yet the next day a 10 foot tall snowman appeared inside the entrance to the park. The news stations called him Frosty. You get a group message from your friend Clyde Williams saying to meet him by the amusement park so you all can look into what is happening. You find your warmest clothes and sneak out while your parents are distracted and make your way to the meeting spot. This adventure takes place in a modern day fictional coastal town which is beset by strange occurrences. It is a kids exploring supernatural type adventure with a group of teens exploring a shut down carnival at night. It is inspired by the Stephen King story IT and stories like it. This is also an introductory adventure for the new Cypher system. Whether you have played in Cypher system before or are new we can all learn this together. Character sheets will be provided so all you have to do is choose what archetype you want to be, give it a name, and we can play.

About me
Hey I am Tony. I got started with ttrpgs with D&D 5e. I would buy the books before I had a group to play with, and even started my own homebrew world. I have since expanded my horizons to many other systems and love exploring new ones. I still have the habit of homebrewing worlds and stories for those worlds that I love sharing with others. My first major completed campaign started in 2023 and ended at the beginning of 2026. I have mostly run D&D 5e, but have dabbled in some Powered by the Apocalypse games like Monster of the Week. I also am a big fan of JelloApocalypse's Anime Campaign system, which I have run various homebrewed versions of. Roll20 is my preferred virtual tabletop, but I also like to do theater of the mind when there is no need for a tabletop. I use Discord for voice/text chat.

Creating your character
I will have a group of premade characters following the new Cypher guidelines that can be chosen during our session 0. They will follow teen archetypes from movies and tv shows.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be playing over Discord for voice and dice rolls so an account is required for that. The setting will be theater of the mind and character sheets will be accessed through google drive.
What Tony B brings to the table
I like to do voices. Mostly I want to provide a fun experience. I wrote this adventure and want to provide a good mix of combat and roleplay experiences within the game.

How Tony B creates a safe table
We will have a session 0 to go over the game, pick characters, and go over safety tools. Since we will be on discord and not a vtt we will just use chat for any X-Card related things and have an open door policy that if things get to be too much that a player can step away if needed without judgement.
