Creating your character
In Part 1, the players will not be required to bear the burden of character creation for this session. Instead, players will be presented with, and choose from, an array of beginner friendly, ready to play heroes. Character creation will, however be covered in Part 2 and Part three of the series.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need an account on D&D Beyond (the free tier will be fine). As well as a Discord account. After booking, players will receive a link to join The Adventurer Academy campaign on D&D Beyond. They will also receive an invitation to The Adventurer Academy Discord server. Both will need to be followed and joined well in advance of the scheduled session.
What Benjamin brings to the table
Players in this game will be provided with everything they need that is not already listed. They will then be provided with 1 on 1 coaching in order to learn the basics of D&D. They will also be provided with a GM who has no qualms in regard to dignity insofar as character portrayal is involved. I will do the voices every time if I can.

How Benjamin creates a safe table
Players will receive a Monte Cook Consent in gaming checklist after booking. There is an open door policy at my table during play for any needed breaks. An after session debrief is available as a transition and cool down.
