About the adventure
An Ice Dragon prowls the skies. A frontier town cowers in terror. And all that stands between them is a gaggle of drifting adventurers. Arriving in the town's time of need, you waste no time in springing into action. Maybe you were exiled and are determined to build a new life here. Maybe you need fast gold to pay a loan shark. Or maybe you just have a taste for adventure. As you take jobs, protect the locals, and build your reputation, you soon realise all is not well in the region. Outposts are beleaguered by monsters, half-orc mages prepare rituals in the hills, and cloaked interlopers conduct shadowy business under the cover of night. If you ever hope to get to the bottom of it all and find where that dragon lairs, you'll have to do more than adventure: you'll have to become a hero. This adventure runs through 'The Dragon of Icespire Peak,' covering levels 1-6, with the option of continuing to sequel adventures leading up to level 12 or beyond.

About me
Gather round the table. Let's tell some stories. I'm Jack, and I run light-hearted games where we spin an awesome yarn with the fickle help of the dice. I started GMing for family a few years ago and caught the collaborative storytelling bug. I believe TTRPGs are for everyone and love running fun and accessible games for people of all ages. As a creative writer (MA, BA) with some published short fiction and poetry, I'm itching to meet your characters and weave their stories into the adventure. I also love using my amateur dramatics experience to bring NPCs to life! I have several years experience adapting / writing and running roleplaying games for new and returning players, including neurodiverse players and younger players. Dwi'n siarad Cymraeg / I speak Welsh! "No Gen AI" tag This tag is on my profile because I will not knowingly use generative AI in my games or listings in solidarity with other creatives. I don't ban use of AI by my players, but I do ask that those who choose to use it share it in moderation. Banner image by David Revoy https://davidrevoy.com/

Creating your character
Using the D&D 5e 2014 rules, I'll work with you to create a character you'll be itching to play as. The campaign spans level 1-5/6. If you already have a character - I can't wait to hear about them! Depending on your preferences I can: • Guide you through creating a character from scratch • Build you a character based on your ideas • Provide or tweak a pre-generated character Characters will normally be created in D&D Beyond using the quick build / Standard Array method. Please let me know if you'd like to use another method. Various character options are unlocked via DnD Beyond. If we're close to game time, you may need to use a pre-generated character to start with.

What Jack of Dice brings to the table
Free 1-1 Character Creation Support and Session 0 Campaign Discord Server D&D Beyond campaign integration Music and Ambience I run D&D as an accessible and collaborative storytelling experience where your ideas and actions shape the way the game progresses. I use the Core 5e 2014 rules and like to flex the game rules to allow story awesome moments. I'll use my amateur dramatics experience to bring non-player characters to life. If you love stories, characters and exploring a world this is the game for you! Deep combat or dungeon crawling are less of a focus for my adventures.
