About the adventure
Hello! This is a Learn to Play Daggerheart - the new Fantasy RolePlaying system from Darrington Press - adventure. Everyone is welcome and will learn together the system, as we uncover clues to determine what monster is attacking the village of Santavio! We will have a free session Zero where I will teach the rules and talk a bit about the characters, and get to play a small piece of the adventure! I will be ordering personalized character tokens for the players of the campaign! This way, you can have a digital memory of the character you will be playing! We will be using the Daggerheart Core Rules as well as the Hope and Fear optional rules. A little background of the campaign: Andaluria is a land of sweeping vineyards where beauty and dread intertwine. By day, the streets and valleys are alive with festivals, music, and the scent of wine—but when the sun sets, monsters come out to feast. For generations, the old superstitions and folk rites kept the beasts at bay, but of late the nights have grown unnaturally long, and the citizens of Andaluria live in fear of increasingly terrifying monsters. In a Dark Heart of Andaluria campaign, you’ll play monster hunters who must investigate horrific crimes, navigate political strife, and slay supernatural creatures to protect the people from eternal darkness. Creating your character
Character creation will be through Demiplane. We will use the Daggerheart Core Ruleset and the Hope and Fear optional rules expansion!! You can transform into a vampire or werewolf!!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should prepare by having their character ready, have a stable internet connection, computer, laptop with microphone, a free Demiplane and free Roll20 account, as well as a Discord username. The rest will be provided by me!
