About the adventure
Long ago the families who founded the town of Blackbrook made a deal. They broke that deal. Every now and again when the stars and the mountain align, the Blackbrook beast rises up to take its due on the descendants of those who betrayed it. So far, it hasn't succeeded, but it's about to try again. You may not have been there when the deal was made and broken, but the blood of those who were runs in your veins and that blood is what the beast is after. You and your fellow player characters must figure out how to bind the curse upon your bloodlines in this sandbox style one-shot designed for convention play. You'll seek out the allies, materials and information you need to ultimately send the blackwood beast back where it came from before it catches up to you and takes the due its been seeking all these years.
