About the adventure
A ringed city flying high above the spire at the centre of the multiverse, this is Sigil, where every creature in existence rubs elbows or bloodies knuckles. Here, anything is possible: a devil could foster bunnies, an angel could rig an election, or an eldritch horror could work a 9-5. If one thing is true in a place like this, is that opportunity is endless for those with the skill to find it, claim it, keep it. You've been making a living for yourself in one of the oldest professions in the cosmos. Taking! Some pick pocket, some delve dungeons, and you're getting pretty good at what you do, but you're waiting for your big break, and you may have just found it... in your own pocket? You pull out a pristine white envelope, sealed with a golden wax symbol of a mechanical vault door. You attempt to break the seal, but instead, the letter pops open effortlessly. Inside you find a note addressed to you; "Apologies for rifling through your pockets. Fortunately, I've left you an opportunity instead of bankruptcy. We have been watching you and we believe your skills can be put to great use! How would you like to do what you do best for the good guys? Meet me at the Ubiquitous Wayfarer tonight. - M.R., handler for the Golden Vault" As you finish reading, the parchment and the envelope it came in shimmer away in golden light, leaving behind the coin sized gold seal in your hand and a strange sense that you're going to need it soon. You find your way to the doorstep of the infamous tavern: The Ubiquitous Wayfarer. As you cross the threshold, a quick scan of the room reveals, amongst the bizarre clientele, a small gathering of strangers, each holding the same wax seal you hold. At the head of the table, a simply dressed woman with warm brown skin, invites you to seat and buys you all a round.

What Ravaneath brings to the table
Beginner-friendly Whether it's your first session or your hundredth, you're welcome at my table. I'm happy to teach the rules, help with character creation, explain Roll20, and answer questions as we play. Well-prepared sessions I enjoy preparing campaigns in advance with maps, NPCs, handouts, encounters, and contingency plans. This allows me to adapt confidently to unexpected player choices while keeping the game flowing naturally. Role-play & player agency Your choices matter. I encourage role-play, creative problem-solving, and teamwork, giving players multiple ways to overcome challenges rather than expecting a single "correct" solution. Cinematic storytelling When the story calls for it, I lean into descriptive narration to make victories, failures, and emotional moments feel memorable. Not every sword swing receives a dramatic speech, but the moments that matter do. Adaptive combat Every group enjoys combat differently. Whether you prefer tactical planning, fast-paced encounters, or a more narrative style, I adapt combat to suit the party while keeping the stakes meaningful. Fair and consistent rulings I generally follow the Rules as Written (RAW), but I'm transparent whenever I use Rules as Intended (RAI), house rules, or an occasional Rule of Cool moment. My goal is to keep the game fair, consistent, and fun without lengthy rules debates interrupting play. Immersive presentation Sessions include curated maps, tokens, ambient music, and sound effects where appropriate to help bring locations and encounters to life. Structured sessions I keep sessions well paced with a consistent structure that includes time for planning, role-play, exploration, and action. There are scheduled comfort breaks and time at the end of each session for questions, feedback, and campaign discussion. Story-driven progression Characters advance through milestone levelling, allowing progression to reflect the story rather than experience point totals. A welcoming table Respect, communication, and collaboration are the foundation of my games. I encourage players to bring their own ideas and creativity to the table so that together we can build a story that's uniquely ours.
