About the adventure
You pull the dead vines aside, revealing an ancient stone door. You hold your lantern close so you can read the eroded old plaque. It says, "Warning! Death comes for those who disturb this tomb!" Warnings are for other people. You wedge your crowbar in a seam and push hard, forcing open a dungeon that's been lost for a century. Your lantern light casts a beam across dusty flagstones. Somewhere deep inside, you hear a soft rustling sound. Welcome to One-Night Dungeons! This series of one-shot games follows the exploits of an adventuring party as they delve into dangerous underground places in search of lost magic and profit. Choose one of the six companions and brave the depths for a short, one-session dungeon crawl. Each game starts with the party at the entrance of a new, handcrafted dungeon.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! I'm Zeke. I like running games. I like designing them, too. I love to bring unusual settings to life with deep lore and bespoke homebrew character options. In my games, you might test your survival skills in a corrupted hellscape, or travel through time to the Stone Age to battle an immortal dark lord before his rise to power, or protect a solarpunk utopia from strange mutant beasts with your favorite raygun. If you've always wanted to play in a game with a unique premise, and you're looking for a GM to make that game a reality, feel free to reach out to me.

Creating your character
Don't worry about creating a character. Choose one of these pre-generated characters at the start of the session: Tarna (dwarf fighter) - A famous general's daughter schooled in courtly graces and the traditional fighting methods of her people. Ridar (dwarf rogue) - A childhood on the mean streets taught this scrappy ne'er-do-well to be quick and vigilant, or else go hungry. Stu (dragonborn ranger) - A mighty sailor with a love of barroom brawling is trying dungeon delving for a change of pace. Endy (high elf cleric) - A kindly, experienced adventurer returns to dungeon delving after taking a century off to raise an apple orchard. Lorn (goliath sorcerer) - A retired scribe with a knack for magic and a lifelong love of books seeks the adventure he never dared to have in his youth. Ral Thune (tiefling warlock) - A criminal mastermind sentenced to a pact with a celestial being in an attempt to reform his wicked ways.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account. We'll use it for voice chat during game and to keep in touch between sessions. You will also need a mic. If you'll be playing from a noisy place or a place with lots of distractions, you need to have PTT (Push To Talk) in Discord set up before the game starts. This is a courtesy to your fellow players as well as the GM.
What Zeke brings to the table
A classic dungeon crawl experience Expect a variety of tactical challenges that leave the door open to creative solutions. Stealth and negotiation can often protect you just as well as a sturdy suit of armor. A moderate level of difficulty Foes are not unconquerable, but neither are they pushovers. A little tactical planning will go a long way. A good place to hone skills This is a good game for new Dungeons & Dragons players to learn the ropes, or for returning players looking for a low-stakes refresher.
Homebrew rules
No PvP This includes theft and deception. This game will quickly become overwhelmingly hard if the players are working against one another. Even the wicked Ral Thune needs teammates to survive.

How Zeke creates a safe table
Prior to play, we'll compile a list of all participants' lines and veils. I might make minor tweaks to the game if needed for player comfort. During play, we'll use X-cards as a safety and consent tool. I have a module loaded into Foundry that lets you play your X-card at the push of a button.
