About the adventure
Experience Hogwarts in the medieval period, where the muggles are expanding their witch hunts, while still waging the historical Hundred Years' War. And when an unfathomable evil festering nearby starts threatening both the wizarding world and the muggle world, will you be able to strong enough to survive such dark and perilous times? This is a darker approach to Harry Potter universe, where you will be able to witness the most frightening sides of it. As young students in Hogwarts, you will soon learn that muggles are not as harmless as they seem, and there are horrible creatures who shall not be allowed to exist. You might find yourselves in battles to defend Hogwarts against all types of threats, discover sinister conspiracies, and meddle in the muggle world to save yours. The game has a balanced mix of combat and social roleplay. The combat is challenging, and the narratives are in a more serious tone. It will be Theatre of Mind, and all player characters will be customized to bring your desired concept to life; from a prodigy Metamorphmagus who can disguise and deceive with ease, to a fierce duelist who can take on several foes; from a genius alchemist whose potions can both mend wounds and cause them, to a Seer whose visions can change the fates of their allies.

Greetings. I am a 40 years old academician who has been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years. My methods and preferences in worldbuilding, lore harmony, philosophical injections, and character development in creative writing have been influenced by classics such as Lord of the Rings, Buffy/Angel, Xena, Battlestar Galactica, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Creating your character
Once a player signs up for my game, I will contact them on Discord a week before the first session, and we will fill the character sheet together in their free time.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need to have a Roll20 account, as well as Discord for voice chat.
What Relik brings to the table
This system is extremely easy to learn, and flexible since most mechanics follow fiction first. No rulebook needed, you may focus on your roleplay in peace. I will provide background music occasionally, to set the atmosphere. Combat will be challenging. I will not be doing voices or accents, and I do not expect players to do either. The substance of the sentences are more important than the voice they are spoken in.
Homebrew rules
We will create player characters together depending on their desired concepts, and adjust the creation rules to achieve their uniqueness in Hogwarts.
