About the adventure

Nestled against dark forests and old hills, Falcon's Hollow survives on timber, grit, uneasy compromises, and the enduring bond between its people and the eldamon of the surrounding wilderness. Hunting, working, and surviving together in a rugged frontier community, the people and eldamon of the forest value community above all else. Something, however, is wrong... Miners have vanished in the hills. The dead stir beneath old graveyards. Kobolds whisper of a rising king in the ruins beyond town. With so much danger afoot, someone must step in to help, as Falcon's Hollow is too stubborn a settlement to fall. You will begin your time in Falcon's Hollow with a bonded eldamon companion originating from the region's forests, hills, or mines. Your companion, and the others you will meet in time, fight beside you when danger comes, but they're far more than battle partners; they can scout dark passages, help to stand watch over camp, protect those you love, and grow alongside you in shared adventure. Our game will renew a classic, dungeon-crawl, frontier fantasy by weaving in meaningful creature companionship to tell the story of a gritty, frontier epic. Expect: - Friendly creature bonds that make your gritty, frontier life more enjoyable - Twisting, underground ruins beneath the town - Kobold tribes surfacing from the Darklands - Undead enemies crawling to the surface - A stubborn but quaint frontier town with NPCs who respond to your choices as a party - Tactical Pathfinder 2E combat enhanced by Battlezoo's Eldamon expansion What begins as a local mystery soon uncovers an ancient darkness rising beneath Falcon's Hollow and threatening everything the town has built. This town is your home, and while Falcon’s Hollow may need heroes, it does not need legends. Be the community member willing to fight for your home, and be ready to call upon the forest for help.

About me

Expect: - Converted, Reworked, and Updated Adventures - High-Res Map Rebuilds - Immersive Audio - Dynamic Lighting, Vision, and Sound - Multi-Level Maps - Thoughtful World-Building and Character Integration - Vetted, 3rd-Party Content I pair my skills in storytelling with a strong understanding for dynamic immersion in Foundry VTT to produce an experience that feels like interactive theater at a digital story table. My goal for players is to bring characters into our table that move stories forward in a collaborative setting. My goal as a GM is to provide players with immersive challenges that build unforgettable story arcs and bring out the best in their characters. Experience: - Background in tabletop podcasting and streaming with professional sound and high-quality digital platforms - Background in theater, public speaking, and middle school teaching - Lifetime of creative writing and fantasy world-building as a hobby - Strong grasp for immersive audio and multi-level maps in Foundry VTT, with the tools and modules needed to automate much of what happens at the table (without taking away from a player's understanding for the game) Table guidelines: - All are welcome, so long as you are welcoming to others. - Practice active listening. - Collaborate with other players to bring the story forward. - Allow other players their moments of spotlight. - Bring on the silly! Have fun with character moments; just make sure they make sense for the character, group, and story. - Published, third-party and homebrew content may be used only if it has been vetted by me and it has a functioning Foundry VTT module to make gameplay accessible. My focus as the GM must remain on storytelling, not building computer automation for one's character. Whether you are new to TTRPGs or have played longer than I have, I hope you'll join me for some collaborative fun. Thanks so much, and I look forward to telling unforgettable stories together 💫

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters after Session 0! You're welcome to prepare a level 1 character before then as well. Anything specific related to Eldamon will be shared with you through the Cozy Critical Discord server and Foundry VTT.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Once you join the game, you will be sent a link for the Cozy Critical Discord Server. The server will host everything you need to get started :) You will also want to create an account with Forge VTT.

What Jamie Emma brings to the table

I will take care of the world-building, NPC voices, in-game music, virtual tabletop, rules management, and player engagement. All I need from you is a willingness to explore the setting and build a story together!

Homebrew rules

We will be using the Battlezoo Eldamon expansion, but no other homebrew rules. We will use the Ancestry Paragon and Free Archetype variant rules. If you don't take the Eldamon Trainer as your primary class, then your free archetype should be the Eldamon Trainer archetype.
