About the adventure
Perfect for new players or players wanting to explore something different, this campaign is a refreshing take on a cozy riverside town. When the Player Characters arrive at the town of Meanderdale it's under construction. Over the course of the campaign Players will be able to influence the town's growth, make important decisions that effect the residents, and ultimately become the "Heroes of Meanderdale"! But be warned! There are dangers lurking beyond the safety of the town! Troublesome Goblins launch raids from deep in the forest, violent bandits stalk merchant caravans, and something... unnatural... lives in the river... are you and your new companions brave enough to discover and defeat the dangers to Meanderdale?

About me
Hail & well met! I'm Dafe AKA Dale, I'm 34 and I'm from Australia, Melbourne. I've been running games for about 16 years and at this point I would say it's a cornerstone of my life. I live and breathe TTRPGs! D&D and WoD are my go-to game lines, but I've run quite a few others, and I'm always excited to add another system to my repertoire! Currently I'm learning how to run Call of Cthulhu and next on the agenda is Daggerheart. I like to think of myself as pretty well read on lore for many, many games & franchises. I've run games based in the worlds of Avatar the last Airbender, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Starcraft, Sailor Moon, Star Wars & Warhammer 40k and there are so many more worlds I'd love to explore! I mostly run games through Tabletop Simulator on Steam, but I'm also familiar with Roll20. Discord is a must have for voice comms and maybe more importantly, group memes!

Creating your character
Players will have time to discuss their preferred play styles and builds with each other and myself during Session 0. Once Session 0 has happened, Players are welcome to finish creating their characters on their own if they'd like, but I'm also more then happy to help guide someone with the process in a one on one call. It's expected that everyone have their characters finished by the time we start Session 1. I am more then willing to help anyone struggling to make sure that we're ready to go! Players may roll 6 x 4d6 and drop the lowest when rolling for their character's ability scores. These rolls can be done in discord using a dicebot, or in real time on Tabletop Simulator. Players can also use the Standard Array if they would prefer, or if they roll poorly. All official 5e books are allowed to be used for character creation. No homebrew please.
