About the adventure
St. Lucian's is a small town in the arctic cold of Alberta, Canada. It's small enough that almost no one goes there unless they have to, but still big enough that it sports it's own high school - Pinewood Public School. You've just started attending Pinewood, for one reason or another, but now you've gotten mixed up in something weird, something dark, and something admittedly pretty creepy... A "Monster of the Week" game perfect for both new players to the system and returning veterans looking for an exciting horror campaign!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Once you join, I'll send you a link to the Discord server as well as any necessary player materials you don't have. If you don't have them, please find the free Monster of the Week playbooks here: https://evilhat.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Monster-of-the-Week-Revised-Playbooks-Formfillable.pdf
What Benjamin brings to the table
I do my best to differentiate NPCs from one another, though I'm no Matt Mercer! I generally do use background music, but won't if there are any issues players have with music. Rule of Cool is a *must* in Monster of the Week, and MotW is a very role-play heavy system, so be prepared to take initiative and talk a lot during the game! I try to keep things pretty casual and loose, but I do ask that players are respectful of myself and other players and try not to monopolize the Voice Chat or table time, and give everyone a chance to shine!
Homebrew rules
No homebrew rules to start, but if anything comes up during play I will try to make the best rulings I can! If I mess up, I'll make a post in the discord channel telling people what the new ruling is.

How Benjamin creates a safe table
All players will be provided a Lines and Veils document. Additionally, I will use Safety Cards during play as I feel these are absolutely necessary in a horror campaign. I always maintain an "Open Door" and allow players to leave at any time and for any reason. After each session, as per the usual Monster of the Week rules, there will be a debrief session. During this time, any concerns that players have about the session can also be brought up and I encourage them to do so.
