About the adventure
The king is dead, enemies gather, and the people murmur their discontent. Everybody knows that the kingdom of Myth is doomed--the prophets said so. It's a matter of when and how, not if. But you are sworn to defend the kingdom to your dying breath. Inevitable is a science-fantasy game combining the glory of Arthurian myth, the windswept loneliness of Spaghetti Westerns, and the terror of post-apocalyptic fiction. You play as brave knights, cunning mages, and fearsome gunslingers who will change fate, or die trying. The smart money is on you dying. This is a special system that explores despair, mythology, and what to do in the face of overwhelming odds. There's a good chance your character will die heroically; be prepared.
