About the adventure
This adventure is taken from the longer campaign titled "The Crooked Moon", a folk horror campaign set in Druskenvald, a land between life and death. If you are interested in playing the entire campaign sometime, obviously this will be major spoilers for part of it! This particular story arc concerns a creepy sanatorium located on a secluded island in the middle of a lake, where a local villager's relative was last heard from in an unsettling way. It will be your job to go there, find out what happened to the relative and why their correspondence was so strange. But be warned, while getting in is easy, getting out is nothing to lose your mind over... =========== This is a horror mini series so be prepared for dark themes, where the possibility of catastrophic failure is very real. You will need to investigate and plan carefully in order to survive. Every move you make pushes you toward an inevitable conclusion! Please look at the Content Warnings! They cannot be altered much without drastically affecting the story.

Make your character on DnDBeyond before the game starts but we will finalize during session 0/1. What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a working mic, camera is optional. Discord and DnDBeyond accounts needed. Have a decent understanding of the rules already will help, but vast experience is definitely not necessary!
What Gnomes brings to the table
I will provide all necessary source material through content sharing on DnDBeyond and a Discord server to play through. We will use DnDBeyond Maps when appropriate and Theater of the Mind otherwise. The goal is to have fun and tell a story! I will try to include audio/music but I'm still learning to incorporate all of that so bear with me! Beginners welcome!

How Gnomes creates a safe table
We will go over most content expectations during session 0 and discuss any major potential issues. I will also have a basic questionnaire to fill out about playstyle and such. Open Door policy.
