About the adventure
The perfect opportunity to learn SHIFT RPG. SHIFT is a highly customizable game, where everything is powered by Traits and their associated Shift Dice. Low rolls are good, and when you roll the highest number on a die it gets "shifted" to a larger one (rolling a 4 on a d4 "shifts" it to a d6). In Dragon Knights of Ylgara you play an adventurer who is helping the Dragon Court of Refuge expand their influence as they drive back the Abhorrent: extra-dimensional invaders who bring nothing but death, destruction, and corruption.

About me
I was first introduced to D&D 3rd Edition as a child and never stopped playing games. As someone who also enjoys board games and video games, I've found that different TTRPGs scratch different itches. My favorite games right now are Pathfinder 2e and basically anything Powered by the Apocalypse - games that support radically different play styles.

Creating your character
Character creation in SHIFT is very quick, and will happen during the session. Though you are free to ask character creation questions, or talk about character ideas in the Discord before the game begins.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need to play this game is a Discord account. The Discord will have a link to a shared die roller that everyone can see, and form fillable pdf character sheets.
What Scott brings to the table
The thing I care most about is that everybody is having a good time! The rules exist to encourage creative thinking and problem solving, and I am here to enforce them fairly - so that your character will have a chance to make their mark on the world.
