About the adventure
If I didn’t know any better, I’d think DMing was a chore. I’ve heard people describe their experience DMing like this more times than I can count. “I wanted to play DnD, but nobody wanted to DM, so now I’m stuck as the forever DM.” I understand why. A lot of work goes into being a DM. You’re expected to be the guide for the rules, prep the story, teach new players, build encounters, etc. It can seem really intimidating. But let me let you in on a little secret about Dungeons & Dragons: It’s a game. Everyone at the table is supposed to be having fun. Over this two week course we’ll go over some tips, tricks, and strategies to maximize the joy and minimize the stress of DMing including - Managing expectations (for yourself and your players) - Prepping for chaos, not control. - When to improv, and when to write. - Improving voice acting - Keeping combat exciting - Why your players will ALWAYS be your best resource.

How Michael creates a safe table
All of my tables are inclusive regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Players who refuse to respect the personhood of other players will be kicked from the party. As this is a seminar, there shouldn't be any triggers or sensitive content to stress over.
