About the adventure
You weren't sure what to think when you woke up as a kobold. Perhaps you were afraid. Perhaps you were angry. But the simple life grew on you. Picking mushrooms, playing games with your fellow kobolds, and doing your best to avoid goblins and adventurers alike.... you'd found a place to belong. All of that is shattered when a reckless adventuring party meets an untimely end. To prevent more adventurers from descending upon the dungeon you now call home, you must race to recover the means to bring them back from the dead. Unfortunately, the fate of your tribe may depend on far more than a simple rescue mission. In this short adventure, every player will create a kobold character (though exceptions may be made for especially convincing goblins). Expect dungeons, some kobold slice-of-life, and a story about protecting the home you've come to love.

About me
I've been playing tabletop RPGs for over 10 years and running games for the past five. I specialize in DND and other fantasy games, but I've recently started to fall in love with Cyberpunk: Red. For me, DMing is about working together to tell stories, tales of tragedy, triumph, and terror. I love crafting worlds where choices matter, where you can feel the tension of silence or the rush of victory after a hard-fought battle. Whether my players are unraveling a murder mystery or making a last stand against overwhelming odds, I live for those moments when they’re fully invested and completely immersed in the story we’re telling together.

Creating your character
Characters will be created using the 2024 (5.5E) ruleset in DND beyond. Any third-party content will be approved on case-by-case basis. Stats will be determined using either point-buy or standard array.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please ensure you have a DND beyond and a Discord account. Once players have joined the campaign, they will be invited to a discord server and we'll begin character creation!

How Abby creates a safe table
Lines and Veils: I will provide a RPG consent checklist that will allow players to anonymously submit any content they do not wish to see in games. These lines and boundaries will be discussed at session zero or whenever a new player joins the group. Session 0: At Session 0 we'll discuss characters [including making characters if needed], talk about the setting, and discuss what sort of experience the players are looking for. Lastly, we'll discuss Lines and Veils to make sure everyone is comfortable at the table. Open Door: If anyone needs to leave the session either briefly or otherwise, they are more than welcome. All I ask is that if you will not be coming back to the table during the session, send me a message so I can proceed accordingly. No explanation is needed, just a heads up.
