About the adventure
A classic intro adventure for beginners to D&D reimagined for the Nimble system with enough twists thrown in to entertain even veterans who've played The Sunless Citadel before. The game is rules-light and media-rich, with immersive presentations of scenes, battles, and characters. The game will involve all three pillars of RPG play (social, exploration, and combat) in about equal amounts, although not evenly distributed throughout the adventure.

About me
I focus on immersive gameplay where I try to drive what I call "attention density"; I try to minimize the amount of time where a player doesn't feel involved or doesn't want to pay attention.

Creating your character
In our first session, we'll create characters and run a teeny-tiny mini adventure to familiarize players with the rules. There is no need to create a character ahead of time.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll play with voice over Discord, so please have that downloaded and an account prepared. We will play with cameras off. The game proper will be presented with Foundry, so please have a compatible browser like Firefox installed.
What Chris brings to the table
Combat is built to be tactical and quick-paced; no sitting for thirty minutes waiting for your turn. There will be immersive audio and graphical presentations.
Homebrew rules
We'll be using a modified set of dungeoneering rules to make dungeon exploration tactical and exciting.

Safety
How Chris creates a safe table
There'll be limited mechanical safety mechanisms; the adventure is inoffensive and has negligible risk of trigger content. Any time a player feels uncomfortable, they may either speak up or send me a message in Discord; all player hard lines will be respected.
