About the adventure

Lost Mines of Phandelver was my introduction to this hobby. I aim to breathe new life into this classic 5e introductory adventure, fit for new and experianced players alike. --- Nestled on the northern Sword Coast, between Neverwinter Wood and the Sword Mountains, is the town of Phandalin. Centuries ago, Phandalin was a thriving settlement with deep ties to its neighboring communities. But then bandits overran the town, and Phandalin lay abandoned for centuries. Only in the past few years have settlers built a new village on the ruins of the old. These townsfolk hope to grow Phandalin through hard work, camaraderie, and the shared purpose of building a lasting home. Threatening their efforts and their survival are bandits, brigands, and monsters. On top of all that, there are rumors that a young white dragon has taken nest somewhere in the region.

About me

Hail and well met traveler. I'm Skyler (she/her), a queer transgender woman. I prioritize providing a space where everyone is welcome and free to be themselves. Immerse yourself in a fantasy world and leave the cares of modern life behind. I've been running TTRPGs for almost a decade now. Currently running Dungeons and Dragons 5.5e. Excited to learn the Draw Steel, Daggerheart, Mothership, and Stonetop game systems.

Character creation

Creating your character

I like to use a pretty standard character creation methead. Using D&D Beyond, you and I will make your character together before your first session. You do not need to own any content or have a subscription to the platform. Starting at level 1 Stats: Roll 4 D6 drop lowest

What to expect

Preparing for the session

For my games you'll need to join my Discord and have a free account on D&D Beyond. From there I'll get you access to core books and Foundry VTT (no downloading).

What Skyler brings to the table

Bring a balance of roleplay, combat, and exploration. My NPCs are engaging and fleshed out. Some of whom you will love and others you will love to hate. We will work together to create a compelling character arc that integrates your backstory in to the overall conflict at hand. I use Foundry VTT for my games. Through it, I'll have ambient sounds, music, battle maps, and handouts.
