About the adventure
Delve through a megadungeon that sprawls beneath a grim, landlocked lighthouse to uncover its secrets; Lead your people to safety after calamity by navigating dangerous wilds and megafauna; attend a prestigious and ancient magical university where you grow from student to teacher while navigating ancient plots to destroy the school; and a truly astounding number of other options abound! As I said above, I am looking to pick up new Adventure Paths, and rather than picking them by throwing darts at the board hoping the right group comes along I'd rather gather the group and pick the adventure path that fits them! During session zero we will talk about whatever character concepts you may have and the themes/styles of settings that appeal to ya'll as a group then go through the options of longterm adventure paths I think fit that vision the best. The idea being to give us the most longevity and fun for the group. After session 0 I will update the game description to match what we pick so any players that join later know what they're in for!

About me
Howdy ya’ll! I’m Peter and I got my start playing tabletops with DnD 3.5e at a friends birthday party when I was 13 and I’ve been hooked ever since. From there I started playing years of pathfinder 1e with my online gaming friends and transitioned into dming because I loved the storytelling opportunities. Tabletop roleplaying games have always been about community, fun, and expression for me so I do my best to cultivate it in any play space. I believe the most important and fun aspects of tabletop roleplaying come out in the collaboration of everyone involved to advance the story; and this can only happen when everyone feels safe, respected, and like they are an equal part of the story. My whole philosophy as a GM is centered around keeping the story collaborative and fun for everyone involved. Creating investment with my players is key: This always starts with a session 0 where we get everyone on the same page for expectations. Players who join campaigns later will at the least get a quick one on one session 0 to prep. As for details about myself I am a non-straight neurodivergent man doing my best to turn my biggest hobby and passion into a job so I can share the things I love about it with others. When I’m not furthering that goal I am devouring my favorite media which includes everything horror and fantasy on my couch with a lap full of my elderly kitties and my partner by my side.

Creating your character
In session 0 we will go over it more in depth but I like to run pathfinder with the free Archetype ruling so people can have more fun concepts, gradual ability progression to make each level count more, and ancestral paragon to be able to really hone in on concepts around your characters ancestry. Pathbuilder 2e is such an incredible app that makes character creation/tracking so easy if you show me during session 0 that you paid for it I’ll discount your first actual session by its cost since it helps me with book keeping. Plus it can really help you map out builds and explore before we even get to session 0 and has settings to implement my extra rules automatically.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a roll20 and discord accounts. If you want to download pathbuilder2e to experiment with builds please do.
What Pert brings to the table
I bring my years of experience as a gm to up the drama and bring characters to life. I use my eye for dynamics to adjust the setting to the power of the party and ensure you're all challenged and engaged. I intend to make sure I sprinkle a decent amount of homebrew additions in npcs and hazards to keep ya'll on your toes.
Homebrew rules
Outside of my character creation outlines I don't implement anything specific; but if you have fun ideas I am totally open to humoring/trying new things!

How Pert creates a safe table
I implement lines and veils, X and N cards, and make sure to take breaks and check in with my players during the session. I also try to be as thorough as possible during session 0 to make sure everyone is on the same page.
