About me

i have been playing 5E since 2015, and gming since 2016 in very regular games with some breaks during the pandemic. English is my second language, but i'm studying to become an english teacher and my level of proficiency si high. i tend to sandbox styles of campaigns which are easier for me with emergent play, but through my current in person games i'm relearning to center into a plot. roll 20 and dungeon alchemist are the tools i use for mapping and making encounters, i'll make discords with specific channels for each player to keep notes.

Character creation

Creating your character

during session 0 will work towards making the characters, the interpersonal relations and if you want to keep a secret of your character, make ti flow don't hoard it, give hints so we can all work towards making every story interesting

What to expect

Preparing for the session

only requirements for this is a discord account, a browser, and a mic, we'll use foundry vtt so the adventures are set in that platform self hosted. I wont be asking for cameras since i know many people may have reservations against them. I'll use mine for specific interactions where might enhance the experience.

What Lultharion Gm brings to the table

i have learn lots of the tools offered by foundry, can help with items, character sheets and use of the platform. we'll be using maps found throughout internet if i don't find something specific i'll do my own but i still lack practice with different map making tooks. Some homebrew to match your trail through the realms. Even the most basic question can be expanded. creativity in both combat and problem solving will be rewarded and teamwork is a must. I'll arbitrate towards using the rules that keep the fantasy of the characters alive. the bard might not seduce the dragon but it might deescalate the encounters with initially aggressive but talkative foes.

Homebrew rules

i count flanking as a condition that affects characters with two oposing enemies and no adjacent allies, applied both on enemies and PCs

Safety

How Lultharion Gm creates a safe table

i'll be making a discord so you all can send me any opinions, worries, wishes or problems, the campaign itself is dungeon crawling from pretty much start to end but there might be some fantasy racist stereotyping, i'll make after session 0 a pinned message in the discord with the no-noes and preferences, be nice to each other and speak or write if something is bothering you. we don't want an RPG Horror story
