About me
Hey yall! I've been a forever DM for a while now and I realized that most new players I met were wonderful people and brought their own fun to DM'ing so I thought what better use of time than to DM for people I know nothing about. I love working with players to build the type of experience they are looking for. Im excited to meet all of you and of course I mean all, folks of any walks of life are welcome at the table so long as ya don't bring any hate <3

Creating your character
For my games you can do standard array, or point buy, whatever suits your fancy and if you're worried about other players outshining you because of stats I will always do my best to feed into everyone player fantasy so you're in good hands. The starting level will be 1 and you will go to level 5. There will be a session 0 where we can all talk about party dynamics and what to expect in the game and then characters will be made between then and session one, and Ill always be on standby for any questions. You can choose anything from official books and feel free to choose artificer or blood hunter, and anything UA is most likely alright just be sure to talk it over with me before setting it in stone.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure to have a discord and roll 20 account. Before the game be sure to have dice prepared if you want to roll in person, a mic, and be ready to dive into an adventure!
What Callum McLean brings to the table
For VTT I use roll 20 and I always buy the module so expect nice maps with dynamic lighting and tokens. I play music through discord so that people can vibe along or mute it and put on their own music. For combat I like to up the difficulty of encounters so players can express all the imagination and I can say yes to it without it making combats boring.

How Callum McLean creates a safe table
Before session 0 I find that the most important thing is the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist so before anything kicks off that has to be filled in and submitted to me and then we can have a one on one talk about lines and veils to make sure you don't have to doxx your own traumas and then in the session 0 I will compile a sheet that has everyone lines and veils to make it easy for everyone at the table to respect everyone's boundaries and since its a group sheet, no individual line or veil can be attributed to any single person, unless of course you would like to have a conversation with the group about certain traumas in which case you are most welcome to do so. As for cards and the more during game measures all of those are welcome so nothing special there and then after every game I like to check in with all my players and ask how they are feeling about the session and talk about the session at large but also to make a place for people to voice their concerns. If you don't want to express concerns in front of all the players my DM's are always open and Ill be sure to make your wishes expressed to the whole group. As far as stars and wishes I am so incredibly pleased when I get criticism from players more than anything BUT I understand if its too much trouble.
