About the adventure
In ages long past, when mortals prayed the gods to life, Erebos the Shadow had two lovers. Ainoe was the goddess of the doom that awaits all empires, the end of magic, and the grind of time. Elpis was the god of repose at the end of grueling journeys, the spark from which magic blooms, and wayward souls coming home. When Ainoe and Elpis fell in the war against the Titans, grieving Erebos shaped their visages into memorial masks. Now a would be conqueror has the Ainoe Mask, and seeks the shattered pieces of the Elpis Mask. With the power of two gods’ death masks, they will conquer Theros – unless a group of heroes prove mighty enough to oppose them. Masks of Theros is an adventure path that takes characters from 1st to 11th level, and across the plane of Theros from the polis of Meletis to the Underworld, via minotaur wargames, a drowned city on the back of a kraken, and the machinations of the god of time.

About me
I believe a session becomes memorable because of what everyone brings when they sit down together. I lean into the Rule of Cool. When something cinematic or awesome is on the line, I use a “yes, and” approach that keeps the momentum alive. I’ve run games for all ages and can adjust tone and content for younger players. I’m also experienced with corporate groups and can tailor sessions for team‑building or professional goals. My games highlight player skill and creativity. It’s not about perfect builds — it’s about how you play, not what you play. I keep meaningful consequences on the table, including injury and death, and I embrace the unknown, the dangerous, and the monstrous. Your choices, your reactions, and how you use the tools you have in the moment are what truly matter. If you enjoy playing imperfect characters, taking risks, and clawing victory from the jaws of disaster, we’ll get along well.

Creating your character
We will make characters in our fist session and as players join. the setting uses new ancestries so, other than humans, this is all Theros only. Then again, Leonin, Minotaur, Centaur and so on are very cool options.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account and a Roll20 account. No camera required. Headsets with mics preferred.
What Skulliver brings to the table
I will provide all we need to play in roll20. I lean toward rule of cool and Theros is a place where the pro wrestling level of player advantage in the 5e rules shines. I will play the monsters as dedicated fighters and beasts prone to eating enemies will attempt to do that. So, going epic mode is encouraged.
Homebrew rules
No Darkvision. I'll give you a bonus feat in trade for it. To me, a party full of people born with night vision goggles breaks the game, especially in online play. Why would anyone sell torches, or lamp oil, if nearly everyone can see in the dark? Dark is our buddy. It hides wonders, dangers and builds suspense in exploration.

How Skulliver creates a safe table
A link to safety tools will be sent for those who need to look it over. We can talk about lines and veils in our first adventure and then log them in our discord for the game. Queerness exists in Theros. It's not going to be a crucial aspect of things but, it is there as a social norm, as in ancient Greece as well. If you can't handle that, don't play.
