Character creation will happen together during session 0. But here are the details: • Starting at Level 3 • Point buy for stat generation. • Bonus feat on character creation • Instead of writing a backstory for your character, you instead develop their character/personality

Preparing for the session
In preparation players should have a mic, be familiar with the core rules of 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons, and be ready to jump into the Fragmented World together. Programs/accounts needed: Discord Roll20
What Ben Goldman brings to the table
The game will be run via Roll20 where I have a campaign built full of hand drawn maps and monsters. It also includes 2 decks of digital cards and several handouts, and a soundtrack for every moment.

How Ben Goldman creates a safe table
The world is a dark, mysterious one that walks the line towards horror at times. However the chief goal of the game is to tell a story together that we will cherish, so everyone feeling safe and heard is vital to the success of the game and I will take all steps required to make that happen. At the start of Escape from the Dreamlands your characters will have no memory of their past, nor of the world they are in. Through this 3rd-11th level adventure many mysteries of the realm and of oneself will be unwrapped. Escape from the Dreamlands uses a unique method for generating character backstories throughout the course of a game, as well as many custom monsters and mechanics that will keep every moment exciting. I have run Escape from the Dreamlands with 3 groups already and am excited and eager to show more people The Fragmented World. -I'll send a link to a Lines and Veils document to players -Session 0 will cover character creation, expectation setting and any concerns that players might have.
