About the adventure
Yee-haw, team! Ready for one last ride before the summer season ends? You all work the Wild West Country Jamboree at the local theme park. It’s hot, the pay is bad, but the crew is tight. When your shift manager finds an old, leather-bound notebook and a set of strangely geometric dice in the back of Storage Shed C, he ropes you all in for an end-of-summer tabletop session. The twist? The game is real. You are transported into a dark, unforgiving version of the Old West. When a brutal gang rides into town to collect their monthly protection fee, your crew of theme park cowboys are the only ones with the newfound power to stand in their way. No prep required: We will learn the rules of the DIE RPG system as we play. The stakes: Defend the town, survive the game, and somehow find your way back home.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Welcome to the table! I’ve spent 30 years rolling dice as a player and 15 years weaving worlds as a Game Master. I specialize in running intricate, responsive campaigns where your backstory is just as important as the main plot. When I'm not running games, I work in TTRPG audio production as the producer of the award-winning Kill Every Monster (killeverymonster.com) and Dead Ghost Productions (deadghostpro.com), as well as the editor for Unprepared Casters (unpreparedcasters.com). Bringing high-quality, engaging audio narrative to life is what I do best, and I bring that same production value and narrative flow to my paid games. Pick Your Universe: I love jumping between genres and mechanics. You can find me running campaigns in: Horror & Sci-Fi: Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, Vampire: The Masquerade Fantasy & Adventure: Dungeons & Dragons, Mythic Bastionland, Stonetop Heroes & Meta-Narratives: Marvel Multiverse, MASKS, Star Trek Adventures, DIE RPG

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Saddle up, team! Since we’ll be learning the rules of DIE as we play, your prep work is super light. No heavy reading or character sheets required beforehand. Just do these two quick things before our shift starts: Join the Crew: Hop into the Dead Ghost Discord server so we can chat, coordinate, and roll some dice. Join here: https://discord.gg/9Jzyrn9YZJ Grab the Guide: I'll teach you everything you need to know at the table, but if you want to sneak a peek at the mechanics before we get sucked into the game, you can download the free DIE RPG Quickstart Guide right here: https://rowanrookanddecard.com/product/die-rpg-quickstart/?v=0b3b97fa6688 Bring your imagination and get ready to draw—we've got a town to save!
What Aram brings to the table
To make our journey into the Old West as smooth as possible, I’ve put together a custom DIE RPG one-shot specifically designed to teach you the mechanics organically as the story unfolds. I will also provide a selection of pre-generated character sheets tied directly to our theme park crew. There's no need to stress over stats or character creation—just pick your persona, and we can jump straight into the action the moment the dice hit the table!

Safety
How Aram creates a safe table
Exploring a grim, alternate-reality Old West can get intense, so player comfort is always my top priority. To make sure everyone feels safe and supported while we play, we will be using the following safety tools: Lines and Veils: Before we begin, we will establish our "Lines" (hard boundaries of topics that will absolutely not appear in the game) and "Veils" (topics that are allowed in the story but will happen off-screen or "fade to black"). X and O Cards: We will use the "X-Card" system, allowing anyone to immediately pause the game and edit out uncomfortable content at any time, no questions asked. We will also use the "O-Card" for quick, non-verbal check-ins to confirm everyone is doing well and enjoying the story. Communication is key, and we will always adjust the narrative to ensure the experience is fun and comfortable for the whole crew.
