About the adventure
The whispers of a growing terror have reached your ears. A small hunting village, nestled an hour's hike from the coastline of the Southern Starry Sea, is being tormented by a lycanthropic plague. The beast's shadow looms large, and now, it has taken a life, absconding with an elderly grandmother. Whether driven by coin or moral duty, you have been enlisted to hunt down this creature, to bring an end to the village's suffering. Your pursuit will lead you beyond the familiar, into the foreboding land of Barovia, a realm abandoned by fate and shrouded in perpetual dread. Here, you will find yourselves within its mists and at the mercy of the man who rules these lands. My Curse of Strahd campaigns are living worlds. Elements from past parties who failed to break Strahd's curse are woven into the fabric of the ongoing narrative, adding layers of history and consequence to your choices. Will you uncover the secrets of this cursed land, or will you become another tragic footnote in Barovia's dark history?

About me
I’ve been roleplaying for nearly 20 years and DMing for 6+, with 10+ full campaigns brought to completion — including a 5‑year epic. I started in play‑by‑post forums and IRC games, where I fell in love with slow-burn, character-driven storytelling and collaborative worldbuilding. Today, I run focused, story-forward games built around one principle: Your choices matter. My tables are intentionally small (4–6 players) to keep the experience personal, immersive, and reactive. I don’t run chaotic drop-in games — I run campaigns designed to last. 🎲 What You Can Expect Immersive, Reactive Worlds A setting that evolves with your decisions — not a railroad, not a sandbox without direction, but a living story shaped by you. Dynamic NPCs Distinct voices, motivations, and relationships that develop over time. Characters remember you. Professional Infrastructure Roll20 Plus, custom maps, curated NPC tokens, ambient music, and organized campaign materials. Consistent Follow-Through Session summaries included. Optional audio highlights or recordings available. No ghosting. No favoritism. No half-finished arcs. Rule of Cool — Structured Cinematic moments are encouraged — within a framework that keeps the game balanced and meaningful. 💡 Why I DM I’m inspired by fantasy fiction, culture, science, and the way collaborative storytelling brings strangers together. The best campaigns aren’t about perfect mechanics — they’re about the moment when a table goes silent because something real just happened in the story. That’s what I build toward. If you're looking for a reliable, engaging, human DM — someone who treats your time and character investment seriously — I’d love to have you at my table. How Tony creates a safe table
Creating a Safe and Engaging Experience As your GM, I prioritize storytelling and the "rule of cool" - if an action is cinematic and epic, I'll likely allow it, focusing on narrative over strict rule adherence when it enhances our collective experience. Safety Tools & Inclusivity We'll use the X-Card system during play for immediate content pauses Session Zero will establish specific content boundaries and safety tools All players deserve respect, regardless of background or identity. Anyone who thinks otherwise will not be invited back to my table. Unacceptable Behaviors (Zero Tolerance) Discriminatory remarks or behavior toward other players "Murder hobo" approaches that derail the collaborative story Meta-gaming that undermines the immersive experience Deliberately offensive or excessive vulgarity Any behavior that makes other players uncomfortable will lead to a warning, and then ejection if behavior continues. Content Rating & Boundaries Games aim for a PG-13 baseline with some mature themes included During Session Zero, we'll establish specific content "veils" (topics handled off-screen) and "lines" (content never included) I'm committed to maintaining these boundaries throughout our campaign, and ask all my players to do the same. My Commitment as GM I will facilitate fair rule adjudication while prioritizing engaging storytelling over rules lawyering I will mediate any conflicts that arise at the table promptly and respectfully I will uphold our agreed-upon safety tools and content boundaries consistently
