About the adventure

Let's celebrate Daggerheart's Birthday with The Wish Thief, an adventure set during a once-in-a-generation royal festival. The city of Bankburgh is overflowing with lanterns, music, nobles, gossip, and magical birthday chaos as Princess Gerdathraeg receives gifts from across the realm. Then the lights go out. When they return, a priceless wish-granting tiara, powered by the heart of a fallen star, has vanished. Now the celebration becomes a high-society mystery, a frantic chase, and a rule-of-cool race to recover the gift before the Wish Thief escapes. This is a roleplay-forward one-shot for mixed experience levels, full of whimsical chaos, suspicious nobles, magical misdirection, and cinematic action. Players may bring their own Daggerheart character or use a provided option with GM help. We’ll use Discord for voice, Demiplane for sheets, and Roll20 for the VTT.

Safety

How GM Daniel creates a safe table

To ensure everyone's comfort and safety during our game sessions, we employ several safety tools and practices. Here’s a breakdown of how we handle this: X, N, & O's: We use digital signals for our X (stop), N (pause or caution), and O (everything's okay) during the game. This can be through a private message to me or a signal in our group chat. It’s a discreet way to communicate comfort levels in real-time. Most Importantly I operate with an Open Door policy. I’m always open to feedback, whether about gameplay mechanics, narrative direction, or interpersonal dynamics. Let's keep the conversation open to ensure our game remains enjoyable and inclusive for all.
