About the adventure

You are a freshly awakened Meta, whose very existence is deemed a threat to society. Thrown into a dangerous world you are unprepared for, and hunted for your powers, you are contacted by an underground resistance group known as Feather, who have dedicated themselves to toppling Babel's oppressive regime and creating a world where everyone can thrive, Meta or not. Sixty years ago, Earth was forever changed when a meteorite suddenly struck North America, killing hundreds of thousands in the initial impact, and even more in the fallout of its strike. In the years that followed, humanity scrambled to recover from this catastrophe and nations fought to wrest control of a new world order. It was during this time that reports began to filter in of strange, supernatural occurrences suddenly popping up all over the globe. Thus began the history of the Metas. Metas are humans who have gained supernatural abilities far beyond what science can explain, known as Morphs. In the chaos of their discovery, many nations saw opportunity in tragedy. By scapegoating the Metas and their strange new abilities, they could more easily control the populace. So it was that Metas became demonized and persecuted. Many years have passed since then, and in that time a false peace has come to the nation of Babel, which was founded from ashes of the United States. Priding itself as the most technologically advanced country in the world and a utopia, it remains chained to many of the greatest flaws of its predecessor; class divides, mass surveillance, and a heavily militarized police force. It is also your home, and it needs revolution. Will you answer Feather's call and join the fight for liberation? The choice is yours, Meta.
