About the adventure
An uneasy world, its ruling nations sitting in uncertain stalemate. Leaders focus only on securing personal power and wealth as the people struggle to survive. You are an actor within this drama in which the world finds itself. An initiate to a faction which operates behind the thrones and outside the dictates of society, known of by few and spoken of by fewer. A secretive faction tasked with only securing and maintaining a True Peace and the Greater Good under veil of shadows... by any means necessary. This is the Shadow Hand. With a neophyte group, brought together by Fate, you are now tasked to enter the world, maintain the secrecy of the Hand, and secure the Greater Good at all costs. Alone you are naught, but together the world may yet know a True Peace. This campaign uses the "Five Banners Burning" campaign frame of Daggerheart's core rulebook. It's designed with beginners in mind, but those with experience with the system are welcome as well.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen independently of a Session 0 (I'll call it a "Session -1"), where I will get on a call/chat with each player individually to discuss their character options. Those with previous Daggerheart experience can ask to skip this step.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should not need to prepare much for this aside from potentially picking up the book (either digitally from Drive-Thru RPG/Demiplane or physically at an LGS) and flipping through it. I do have a Discord available. https://discord.gg/pmZdbkRK
What Elizabeth brings to the table
I will be bringing experience with both the system and TTRPGs in general, as well as guidance for those who are new to TTRPGs. This game will be inclusive to all 18+ individuals, be they LGBTQIA+, POC, disabled, etc.

How Elizabeth creates a safe table
There will be a module loaded called the "X" card, where if someone presses a hotkey on their keyboard (or clicks a button), it will bring up a large, red "X" on the screen. This will indicate that they are uncomfortable, they want the scene to end, and it is completely anonymous. I also encourage all of my players to fill out the Monte Cook's Consent Checklist (that is in the Player Resources channel of the Discord). This is TECHNICALLY optional, but highly encouraged.
