About the adventure

You have been kidnapped along with tens of millions of other humans by a galaxy spanning empire to take part in a live-streamed blood sport adventure show where you are forced through quests to hunt greater and greater enemies. You start out with nothing but a class and race select screen, and only the weapons you were able to pick up in the tutorial, but now you must complete quests and collect rare loot to survive. Even more important than surviving however, will be entertaining the viewers, and if you can manage to get one of the big spenders to sponsor you and your fellow players, you'll be able to unlock the powers and gears that are truly necessary to survive in the long game! Who will you become? Will you wield divine or arcane magics of old as a wizard or a paladin? Or will you take advantage of the power of alien technology and become a plasma cannon wielding soldier, a turret and robot-operating mechanic, or a reality bending witchwarper?

Character creation

Creating your character

I primarily use foundry and pathbuilder 2e. While the sf2e content is not officially on pathbuilder yet, there are free custom packs that are easily available on reddit and I can help set them up if you need. Otherwise, I can easily open up my foundry server for you to make your character in when you are ready! Regarding ancestry, the storyline allows for you to begin as a human or any other ancestry in the Pf2e/Sf2e ruleset. However there is also the option of starting as a human and holding off on selecting a different ancestry until the "Race change" option is provided to you by the story as a reward for completing the first area of the game.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All of my games use foundry and discord, all you need is to have a discord account, as well as a working microphone, headset, and internet connection. Once you join the game, I will send you links to join the discord server!

What Jeremy Allan brings to the table

I prefer to aim for exciting moments that really hook players in, and sometimes that does mean bending the rules around a little to make sure the players actually have the capability to attempt what they want (substituting different skills on skill checks, custom items, etc). Also, I prefer an even mix of Rule of Cool and Rules as Written, and with how balanced the 2nd ed paizo system is, I rarely need to step out of those bounds! for the game itself, I use paid maps from sources like Cze Peku as well as audio from sites like tabletop audio, and I prefer to run engaging, unique encounters when it comes to combat.

Homebrew rules

All of my pf2e/sf2e games use the free archetype rule, and I leave it up to the table to decide if they would like to use ancestral paragon for the extra rp potential.

Safety

How Jeremy Allan creates a safe table

I make sure to communicate with my players in the first session or before hand to get an idea of what topics or themes should not be covered and to get a heads up on how to keep the game a safe space for all!
