About the adventure
Looking for a long-term D&D campaign where your character actually matters? This weekly game is designed for players who want to build something lasting—developing relationships, shaping the story, and watching their character grow over time. You’ll begin in a frontier town full of opportunity, danger, and hidden tension. What starts as small local problems soon reveals deeper mysteries, strange forces, and choices that will shape the future of the region. Your actions will matter—not just in combat, but in how the world responds to you. This campaign is beginner-friendly, but not shallow. New players will be supported every step of the way, while more experienced players will find plenty of depth, roleplay opportunities, and meaningful decisions. This game is a great fit if you want: -A consistent weekly group -A character-driven story that evolves over time -A mix of roleplay, exploration, and tactical combat -A welcoming, inclusive table (queer & ally friendly) What to expect: -Guided onboarding for new players (no experience needed) -A living world that reacts to your choices -Balanced pacing between story, exploration, and combat -Clear structure and reliable weekly sessions This is a long-form campaign with room for character arcs, party dynamics, and evolving stakes. Early sessions are approachable and guided, with increasing depth and challenge as the group grows more confident. Start at Level 1 and grow into a powerful adventurer as the story unfolds. Your character’s journey is central to the experience. This is an ongoing weekly campaign. Players are encouraged to join with the intention of sticking with the group and building a shared story over time.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi, I’m Eryn—a professional Game Master with 15+ years of experience crafting immersive, character-driven RPGs. I run story-rich campaigns where your choices matter, your character grows, and the table feels like a space you actually want to come back to each week. My games are beginner-friendly, emotionally engaging, and built to last—no chaos, no ghosting, just a reliable group telling a great story together. I specialize in creating welcoming, queer- and femme-friendly tables where allies are absolutely welcome. You can expect a balance of strong narrative, clear mechanics, and supportive guidance—whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player looking for something more meaningful than a typical drop-in game. If you’re looking for a consistent campaign, a respectful table, and a GM who’s invested in your experience, you’re in the right place.

Creating your character
Character creation is beginner-friendly and fully supported! We’ll create characters together as part of the first session, so no prep is required. I’ll guide you step-by-step through the process, explain your options, and help you build something that’s fun and easy to play. If you already have a character idea, feel free to bring it! I also provide a Discord/text space before the game for anyone who wants to chat, ask questions, or start planning early. Character details: -Starting Level: 1 -Stats: Standard Array (balanced and beginner-friendly) or Point Buy -Allowed content: Core rulebooks to start (to keep things approachable). As we progress through the campaign, new official content options will unlock as rewards—expanding your character’s possibilities over time. I keep character options focused and streamlined so players don’t feel overwhelmed or end up with something difficult to use at the table. This helps everyone stay engaged and confident, especially in a shorter adventure. Pre-generated characters can also be provided if you’d prefer to jump right into the game. I’m always happy to help shape your character into something that fits both your idea and the story we’re telling together. 🚫 Note on homebrew/3rd party content: To keep things balanced and accessible for all players, unofficial or third-party material isn’t used in this game.

What Eryn brings to the table
I run immersive, story-driven D&D games where the players and their characters are always at the center of the experience. With over 15 years of Game Mastering experience, I focus on creating worlds that feel alive, responsive, and shaped by your choices, never scripted around a “GM protagonist.” Your story belongs to you and your party. Above all else, I prioritize a safe, inclusive, and welcoming table. Players of all backgrounds are encouraged to show up as themselves and enjoy a space where respect and collaboration are the foundation of play. I blend narrative storytelling with a strong understanding of game mechanics. I enjoy rules-light moments when it benefits pacing, and more tactical, “crunchy” combat when the table is ready for it. Early sessions are more guided and supportive, and as the group becomes more comfortable, we naturally evolve toward deeper mechanics and higher challenge. I may occasionally streamline or temporarily simplify mechanics when it improves flow or keeps focus on storytelling and fun. If something makes narrative sense, I will usually look for a way to make it work within the system rather than blocking creativity. I enjoy tactical, meaningful combat where positioning, decisions, and teamwork matter. However, I also value pacing and clarity—especially for newer players—so combat will always be explained clearly and adjusted to the group’s comfort level. I follow a “Rules as Written as a foundation, Rule of Cool when appropriate” approach. Creativity is encouraged, but balance and fairness are always maintained so that no single player or ability overshadows the table. Games may include: -Character voices (light to moderate, depending on tone) -Thematic ambient music and curated playlists -Occasional sound effects to enhance key moments -Theatre of the mind or virtual battlemaps depending on scene needs I use tools and presentation style based on what best supports clarity and immersion—not for spectacle, but to help the story feel real and engaging. I am very comfortable teaching new players and will actively support understanding of: -Turn order and combat flow -Character abilities and mechanics -Game pacing and decision-making My games are built on a simple balance: -Player agency matters -Choices have consequences -Risk should feel meaningful -Your time at the table should always feel worthwhile
Homebrew rules
-Drinking or administering a potion as a bonus action. Can't be thrown. -As a group we'll decide if we want flanking bonuses. This bonus would benefit both players and npcs.

Safety
How Eryn creates a safe table
Safety is the most important part of my table. My goal is always to make sure everyone leaves the table feeling comfortable, respected, and glad they showed up. If people don’t feel safe, we don’t get to have fun collaborative storytelling—and that’s the entire point of playing together. My goal is to create a space where players can relax, engage, and explore the game without worry. Safety tools are not scary or disruptive. They are normal, expected parts of play, and can be used at any time—both in-character and out-of-character. They can also extend beyond the session if something comes up later and you need to check in. At the start of each session, we do a quick check-in. This is a simple pulse check to see how everyone is doing. You’re welcome to share anything that affects your play, such as: -Feeling tired or low-energy -Having a stressful day -Wanting to avoid specific themes that day This helps us adjust the game so everyone can enjoy it. I use multiple safety tools depending on the group, including: -Lines and Veils (allowed content, established before play) -Open Door Policy (you can step away anytime, no explanation needed) -X, N, & O signals (used digitally or spoken at the table depending on setup) These tools can be used at any time without needing justification. All sessions include a mid-session break (10–15 minutes) for: -Stretching -Hydration -Bio breaks -Resetting focus Aftercare is handled naturally at the end of sessions with a brief check-in and decompression space. If anything felt intense or emotionally impactful, we can talk it through or follow up privately after the game.
