About the adventure
Off the Sword Coast of Faerun, a little-known penal island is home to Faerun's criminal element, offering petty thugs and pilferer's a chance for rehabilitation. You've been charged with some crime- unjustly, perhaps- and are now on a vessel for an unnamed island to serve your sentence. What will you do with your time in isolation on this island. Will you be allowed to return? Is your sentence indefinite? What fate befalls those who are sent to this mysterious place?

About me
I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game mixed with improv troupe I associate with the best examples of D&D. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and giving people a place to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy.

Creating your character
I will personally work with the group to help with the D&D Beyond character creation tools! We'll actually make more than one character as part of this adventure.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
No prep necessary. Simply have a Discord and D&D Beyond account and the rest will be discussed in full! You'll be experimenting with different mechanics and characters to learn what you like and where different rules apply
What Tamu aka "DutchesandDragons" brings to the table
You will have a DM with decades of experience in playing D&D and introducing interested casual explorers to the game as an extension of your innate ability to tell stories, play characters and improvise! You'll have access to sourcebook materials, high quality organized play, integrated sfx/audio/music, upgraded battlemaps, and other virtual handouts and fun extras.
Homebrew rules
We won't use homebrew in this tutorial.

Safety
How Tamu aka "DutchesandDragons" creates a safe table
Safety rules are valuable and important! It's hard to play pretend when you don't know where the lines and veils lie. We'll use Lines & Veils, XN & O Cards, Fades and other methods to skip past troublesome in-story events that occur naturally
