About the adventure
Tension hangs in the air like dust in still sunlight, as you and your family gather to hear the contents of this highly anticipated piece. Season after season, in orderly fashion, these little pamphlets found their ways into each and every home of any kind of importance. To spread the gossip better than any public appearances and dances could. A single mention could set the entire court aflame, for better or otherwise. Silence breaks as the wax seal is carefully removed by a stiffened thumbnail against fine stationary. The folds are undone, and a throat is cleared before reading: "The Midnight Gazette, dated Sunday December 15th, this year of 1805 A.D. My Dearest Dusklings, Another season has set upon us here in London, and with the rise of velvet curtains, so do we see the rise of the most affluent of us fill the streets in preparation. A wonderful season, with blood and reputation fueling the behavior of this year's debutants, it is sure to be exquisite and wholly fulfilling to the Beasts within you. We will all be watching diligently as this season's Kindred brave the night with teeth bared, in search of power, wealth, or, for the most foolish, love. Let us be delighted in their triumphs and tribulations as they traverse the terrors of court, and hope we are not the ones caught in any wayward paths. Hello and welcome! I’m Pierce and I’d like to be your GM! I hope your travels so far have been kind to you, and I hope you’re ready for another! Or, if this is your first adventure, I’m honored to be your guide as you take your first steps! A bit about me: - I’ve been a professional dungeon master for 2 years, teaching kids aged 8-15 the ins and outs and joys of D&D. - I’ve been a hobbyist GM for 6 years, running home games for friends and family across several systems. - I’m an artist (and former tattoo artist), and can/will provide hand drawn character portraits for you and your table! - My favorite TTRPG system is the World of Darkness Storyteller System, with Dungeons and Dragons as a close second. - I am an avid video gamer as well, and play a multitude of games on PC, and have a big soft spot in my heart for Rock Band. Creating your character
Character creation will begin in session 0 on Discord for all members present, and can be done privately with me outside of session. Characters will be as young/unleveled as possible, and you have the option of playing a mortal, a ghoul, a werewolf, a vampire, or even a hunter in the right circumstances.

How Pierce creates a safe table
A link will be provided in the discord with a Google Forms Lines and Veils doc, which will be anonymous, and the results will be shared with the group to ensure cooperation as mutual respect. These topics will be removed from the gameplay unless it is crucial to our story. Certain topics cannot be avoided, and those will be discussed at our session 0.
