About the adventure

This oneshot is intended for new players who like a good puzzle with their combat! Save the outpost from a pride of Displacer Beasts or die trying. This oneshot is set in a homebrew world and utilizes the Dungeons & Dragons 5e version of the game. Prior experience with D&D is not required, in fact this is geared toward newer players. NOTE: AI is not allowed at my tables in any form.

About me

Hello all! I'm Amber, and I have been GMing for 7 years now! I fell in love with ttrpgs when I tried D&D 3.5e back in the day, and I returned to gaming with 5e and other various ttrpgs. It is my goal to introduce players to a multitude of ttrpgs so that they can find the game that they adore and return to time and again. I hope to nurture an environment of creativity and comfort in being one's self (as well as original characters for a few hours lol).

Character creation

Creating your character

I will help walk you through dndbeyond to set up your character prior to gametime. I find this is the easiest way for beginners to put together and understand their character sheets. We'll use standard array for ability scores (which I can explain) and start at level 3 (where all the fun choices begin!).

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Roll20 and dndbeyond are the two main websites you will need to create an account for, one for the game itself and one for your character sheet. Discord is required as well for communication.

What Amber brings to the table

I will walk all players through the character creation, rules, and story of this oneshot utilizing ambient music and character voices.
