About me
Hello! I am Seth, a dungeon master with several years of experience in D&D 5th Edition. I strive to make my games as fun an inclusive as possible with flexibly being a strong suit. Homebrew is highly encouraged so long as I am given the chance to check and ok it first. If it doesn't fit, I'll be more than happy to help tweak it with you to fit in with the game I'm running!

Creating your character
Our session zero shall be where all players make their characters and integrate your stories with one another. Characters will be made using the following 5e books, Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, and Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse. Everyone will begin at 3rd level. Players may be permitted to bring homebrewed races or subclasses for character creation and they will be inspected during session zero. Character stats are determined by rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest die 12 times, then allocating the values to whichever stat his desired. Players must also choose a flaw, which is one of their stats that will have an 8, this is to encourage teamwork and relying on each other.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to create a Discord account and join a private server which will be sent to all participants. If players have a preferred way of keeping track of their character sheets they must bring them before session zero, otherwise an editable PDF will be provided. Players will need some way to open a google doc in order to easily access homebrew material. Players should bring something to keep notes with, either pen and paper or a digital notebook/document.
What Seth brings to the table
A Discord server where all the information about the world is easily accessible. Personally crafted homebrew rules and content to add to the world and player fun. Character voices (I am not a voice actor so please keep that in mind). Ambient music. Rule of cool and fun above all. Combat tailored to the players. Rich and engaging story.
Homebrew rules
Potions are consumed as a bonus action. All pure martial classes start with the Magic Initiate Feat. Reworked Monk class from Bone Wizard. Reworked Stun and Paralyzed conditions also from Bone Wizard. All spells and abilities that inflict Incapacitated instead inflict the reworked Stun. Several spells are buffed or altered slightly. All weapons have special Weapon Arts that can be used as an action for burst damage or utility. Weapons have new passives like inflicting bleeding. New weapons and armor. New conditions. A few new subclasses for every class in the game including Artificer.

How Seth creates a safe table
A document will be sent to every player where they will write their lines and veils which everyone can access to know what the limits are. We will take a short break every 2 hours, allowing players to drink water, use the bathroom or anything else. After every session I will give space for the players to talk about how they think the session went and what, if anything I can do to improve things for them. During session 0 we will cover character creation, ensure all players have had the time to submit their lines and veils, discuss player expectations and desires, and fully cover the depth of the world.
