About the adventure
Deep in the Heart of Post-War America is land mostly untouched by Radiation but don't let the Rad count fool you, its a wasteland out there! The Oklahoman Commonwealth is filled with mutated horrors and strange and wonderful creatures. Most people have reverted to wandering tribes and raider bands with relatively few settlements to be found. The central capital is a massive fortress laden megacity controlled jointly by a Council of Civilian and Brotherhood of Steel Elders who constantly bicker. Recent rumors that the lost Vault 5 has been revealed by a historic Radstorm are all the rage. It is alleged to be a treasure trove of not only fresh faces and educated minds but also a sanctuary of irreplacable pre-war tech. Will you side with the Vault Dwellers, Will you back the Brotherhood of Steel, Will you become a Raider or Will you miraculously help everyone get along? Only time will tell!

About me
I'm a transwoman I used to work in a casino until my mental illnesses forced me to apply for disability. Hopefully this can get me off of disability some day but honestly I just like having fun with tabletop games.

Creating your character
Players will create characters with the a harsh unforgiving wasteland in mind. This adventure will see the players changing their fate as well as the fate of the wasteland. We will not be making use of much crafting but weapon modules will be available through other means such as shops, travelling merchants, pre-war ruins and of course as quest rewards. This doesnt mean you can't be a repair or crafting focused character I just don't prefer when an adventure stops because the whole party feels obligated to craft things because their gear is under powered.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should prepare by joining the Discord and printing off character sheets and ensuring you have access to ample note taking supplies this system requires loot management that does not fit on the basic character sheet.

Safety
How Lynn Bee-Friend creates a safe table
I utilize breaks, an open door, and a Session 0. Every session has a 15 to 20 minute break. Players are encouraged to get up have a snack and otherwise practice self care. The Door is Open, if things ever get too real in the wasteland you are always welcome to walk away and come back after you are in the right headspace. Session 0 will go over basic tabletop ettiquette and expectations as well as finishing character backstories and character sheets.
