About the adventure

In the bustling metropolis of Mega-City One, a sprawling urban jungle with towering mega-blocks, crime and chaos are ever-present threats. Players step into the role of seasoned Judges, the formidable law enforcers responsible for maintaining order in this dystopian city. The campaign begins as a new day dawns, and the players embark on their routine patrol, knowing that anything can happen in this unforgiving city. As the Judges don their iconic uniforms and helmets, they receive their daily assignments from the Circuit Judge, who reminds them of their duty to protect the city and its citizens. Their patrol partners, some experienced and others fresh-faced rookies, join them as they venture out into the labyrinthine streets. The adventure unfolds over a 12-hour period, starting with the early morning briefing. During any given day, the Judges might encounter various typical challenges of Mega-City One life: resolving domestic disputes, dealing with petty thefts, intervening in street brawls, and mediating in disputes between rival blocks. They'll also interact with the diverse citizenry, from desperate mutants and hardworking citizens to cunning criminals and vengeful gang members.

About me

Hello, I'm Chance. I have been playing TTRPGs of one sort or another for better than 30 years (most of that as a GM). What started out as a hobby to entertain a small group of close friends in my basement with a D&D boxed set has turned into a lifelong love of storytelling and a desire to meet like-minded people! I have spun stories around great heroes known throughout the realms...as well as hog breeders that just wanted more than their little corner of the farm. Whether you are looking to be a knight of renown or a simple wanderer, there are stories to envelope you. My table is always open, and I try to maintain a safe, courteous and mostly fun place for you to explore the world that we create together. I have played with veteran players as well as complete beginners. I play online, in game stores, conventions...heck, I've even been known to still kick it in the basement...old school. So grab a seat friend, open your dice bag and let's see where we can go to today!

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll have pre-generated characters that will be handed out in a first-come-first-serve basis. We'll spend approximately the first 10 minutes of the game explaining the system and how to use the characters.

The current party

There will be pre-generated characters for you all to play in a variety of types...everything from street judges, psi-judges, tek judges, riot squad as well as wally squad judges.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a decent internet connection, a mic attached to a Discord account (preferably set to push-to-talk), a browser for the Foundry server and a desire to have fun!

What Chance brings to the table

I will have the core book, all the characters, the foundry server and a discord server for our use.

Safety

How Chance creates a safe table

While we'll be using Lines and Veils so as that gore, sex and other 'push-button' topics aren't carried too far in descriptions, it is completely understandable if a break is needed...which is why we will also be using the Open Door tool. If you need a break, feel free to take one, no need to say anything.
