About the adventure
The world has been marked. Symbols of divine judgment burn into flesh, claiming the righteous and the damned alike—but you bear nothing. No mark. No destiny. No place in what comes next. As Heaven’s silence deepens and the Seven Lords of Sin rise once more—not just for destruction, but conquest. But prophecies don't align, events are different from what was foretold. It leaves one to wonder, if the apocalypse is not the end of the world. If it is a preparation. And whatever comes after… was never meant to include you. This is a level 3-20 campaign of epic proportions, one where the events of the prophesized apocalypse happen suddenly, without warning, and not as it was meant to be. As the story unfolds, our characters will be given a chance to navigate a new dawn. Across the realm mortals are becoming Marked, branding the side they have chosen to follow. Some are Righteous, some are Sinful, and some are just trying to survive a world that's been uprooted. Engage with a system of "Marks", which can give you different faction ties, different perks, and different story potential! With battlelines being drawn, towns and cities crumbling with turmoil of who to pledge themselves to, our characters are left to uncover their own fate. Will they seek a path of purity, one of sin, or one they make themselves? Engage with new allies and foes, embark on new quests, acquire powerful new patrons, all as you fight to not just survive the chaos of this new era, but to thrive in it. Will you join me in this telling of tales? Will you choose your mark, or will it choose you?

About me
Hello! My name is Spencer, or Saber99 in many corners online. I am 24 years old and started my tabletop experience 10 years ago. Games have always been a passion of mine, and I've come to find that the best feelings you can get are by sharing a solid gaming experience with others, one of my all-time favorite adventures being Curse of Strahd. For the past 3 of those 10 years I've branched into the realm of GMing, weaving stories for those wanting to have a great adventure. I want to encourage a healthy gaming environment, one where we understand expectations, one where we invite a strong blend of lighthearted enjoyment and compelling seriousness. A mix of roleplay and combat let's give life to the characters in our minds. Being a GM isn't just your enjoyment, it's the enjoyment of everyone, and I am ready to expand my horizons even further beyond!

Creating your character
Character creation will be a mix of prior to and during Session O(which is free for all my games). Anything in core 2014 D&D is allowed, and so are subclasses from expanded material. If you have desires to play anything more past that, run it by me first. Stats will be decided via 4d6 drop lowest.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please be a little familiar and have accounts with Roll20 and Discord. Past that, just bring some enthusiasm and we're all set!
What Saber99 brings to the table
I provide my players with engaging combat, world-building, and storytelling. I will often go Rule of Cool to push players to live the story they envision, and to realize the thematics of the campaign.
Homebrew rules
This game will also come with a Mark system, similar to that of the one in the "Apocalisse" setting made by Archeron Games. Depending on the type of character you may want to play, this aspect may be important to character creation. I will have full docs explaining the marks, how they function and how they tie into various in-game factions.

How Saber99 creates a safe table
I keep my tables safe by having my players fill out the Monte Cook checklist, by having a solid session 0 to determine boundaries, and by having an open door policy.
