About the adventure
You are a noble predator, a sensual monster, a philosopher of murder: a Vampire. You wake up every night hungry for human blood, not a single day older than the day you died. You walk among the human herd and they pass you by, unaware of the danger they are in. You hunt, you feed, and sometimes, you kill. Misery loves company, they say. There are other monsters in the dark, hungry like you, but different in their particular brand of horror. The All Night Society beckons you to commune with them, to hunt with them, but they ask you so much in return: the very thing that makes you still human maybe, or perhaps another sin for their sinister bucket list. From the raucous parades of Mardi Gras to the quiet power of the board room, New Orleans has something for everyone, provided you're willing to pay the price. Money, power, entertainment, lust... Even immortality. What does your heart desire? As one of the Damned, you belong to one of the five ancient Clans of vampires, each afflicted with a particular strain of the vampiric curse. You may also join one of the five Covenants of the Kindred, dark societies and blasphemous philosophies for the undead that can help you cope with the reality of your unnatural existence. The French Quarter of New Orleans will be the main scenario for this chronicle. Among the many dangers of gothic New Orleans, you will: 𩸠Hunt down rogue vampires that defy the rule of the Prince with their unspeakable acts! 𩸠Navigate the cutthroat politics of the Kindred at Elysium gatherings. 𩸠Curse your enemies with dark sorceries born of blasphemy and blood. 𩸠Explore the supernatural mysteries of the bayous, inhabited by shapechanging devils and horrible hauntings. 𩸠Evade the pursuit of monster hunters that see you as their rightful prey. 𩸠Protect your precious loved ones from the depredations of your fellow monsters... and of yourself.

About me
Hi there! Iām Javi, and Iāve been running Dungeons & Dragons games and other TTRPGs since 1995. That year, I first discovered TTRPGs and instantly fell in love with the hobby. It quickly became a creative calling: building worlds, guiding adventurers, and crafting stories that leave lasting impressions on people. I care most about creating experiences that feel exciting and emotionally grounded. I want players to feel immersed in the story; this means they make meaningful choices and form real connections. My three decades of experience has given me the tools to create detailed, unique, and memorable gaming sessions with a sense of depth and agency. Whether the tone leans toward epic, tragic, or lighthearted, my focus is always on immersion, character-driven storytelling, and building a table where everyone feels safe and excited to roleplay. Over the years, Iāve run games for a wide range of players and personalities, and Iāve learned that the best sessions come from trust and communication. I love adapting to different playstyles and weaving each playerās imagination into the adventure. If youāre looking for a game that values story, character, and genuine collaboration, I'd love to see you at my table. The adventureās waiting, and thereās always room for one more!
View Profile āCharacter creation
Creating your character
During session 0 you will create your characters as part of a new coterie of young vampires. Alternatively, I will provide a host of pregenerated characters to choose from if you prefer a different option, or perhaps to use it as an inspiration fodder. Discussion of expectations, shared history together and interpersonal relationships is key here. We will focus on what tie the characters together, and what they want to accomplish as a cabal. You don't need to know the rules of the game at first; I will guide you at every step of character creation. However, this is a game with deep lore and deep themes, so learning about both the system and the world of the Kindred will be incredibly rewarding if you choose to immerse yourself in this narrative experience. There is no rush, but the more you learn about the game, the more amazing things you will get to experience, I promise.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before you join the game, please make sure you have access to the following things: 𩸠Have a Discord Account- We'll use voice chat here to host the session. 𩸠Use a working microphone so we don't lose any swears, cheers, or battle cries. 𩸠A good pair of headphones so you don't miss a beat. 𩸠Cams are encouraged, yet optional! I'll be running my camera, as I'm comfortable and feel that it adds to player immersion. No pressure on your end, but would love to have you join. 𩸠Have a reliable computer and stable internet access so you can jump in to Roll20 or Owlbear Rodeo.
What Javi GZ brings to the table
I have decades running ttrpgs under my belt. I strive to bring the characters and the world to life. I do voices when I can and add my own spin to the world and the NPCs so they stand out. I have a deep level of knowledge and insight about the system and the world, having it run for years on end. Whether your main interest lies in roleplaying your character, exploring mysteries or engaging in occult intrigues, there should be a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy.

How Javi GZ creates a safe table
This chronicle will straddles the boundary between horror and urban fantasy, so dark, mature themes will come up on a fairly regular basis. That said, everyone deserves a table where they know the boundaries, understand the tone, and feel comfortable speaking up if something crosses a personal line. I keep safety tools simple, clear, and unobtrusive so the game stays immersive without becoming overly sanitized. ā Session 0 Basics. Before we begin, weāll briefly cover: - Tone (urban fantasy, horror, personal stakesānot gratuite violence for shock value). - Player expectations (team-focused, respectful, cooperative). - Campaign elements you can and cannot expect (e.g., PvP, romance, discrimination, etc). This takes just a few minutes and ensures we all start on the same page. š Lines & Veils (Short Version). I provide a short list of common lines & veils in Discord. You can add anything privately or publicly. No essays, no deep divesājust clear boundaries. Lines = Not included. Veils = May appear, but only off-screen. This keeps the campaign intense without crossing genuine comfort limits. š X/N/O Tools (Simple & Quiet). I use a minimal, discreet system that does not interrupt the game: X = āHard stop, skip this, move on.ā N = āNot loving this direction, adjust a bit.ā O = āAll good, keep going.ā You can message me directly or drop the letter in Discord. You'll never need to explain why. š§ Respect at the Table. I expect everyone to: - Respect each other - Avoid PvP unless explicitly agreed - Keep character conflict in-character only - Use mature judgment when dealing with horror themes. āļø Horror With Control. New Orleans Unveiled includes dread, danger, and intensityābut I do not use: - Graphic gore for shock value - Sexual violence (hard line) - Torture scenes - Misery for miseryās sake Horror should feel engaging and dramatic, not exploitative or uncomfortable. š¬ Aftercare (Lightweight). After each session, I open a quick check-in channel where you can: - Ask questions. - Clarify moments. - Mention anything that didnāt land right. - Celebrate cool character moments. Itās optional and briefāno group therapy, just honest communication.
