About the adventure
---Designed for episodic play, this campaign provides new, self-contained stories often, allowing for flexible participation and a variety of adventures.--- 💀 WELCOME TO GRANNY MABEL’S ROADHOUSE Granny Mabel’s ain’t on any map. You don’t find it, you stumble into it after gettin’ shot or robbed lookin’ for whiskey and maybe later, looking for a way to not die broke. You've reached her when you’re too far gone for salvation, but too damn stubborn to die quiet. Inside, it’s smoke, rot, and ruin. Tables scarred by blades, floors soaked in blood and bad decisions. And Granny, she ain’t no kindly old barkeep. She’s a relic with a gaze cold like iron, and when she pours, you drink, it's not ‘cause you’re thirsty, or you want another. It's ‘cause sayin’ no to Granny tends to end in sorrow or worse. The scum who drink here are the wanted, cursed, the wanderers, and worse. Every last one has a past they don’t speak of and a future they don’t expect to see. But that’s the thing...Granny’s place has a pull. A promise. One more job. One last score. Maybe even a name that folks won’t spit on when they curse it. You got a story to tell? You got blood to spill? Then there’s a chair waitin’, stranger. This is Frontier Scum. No heroes. No clean getaways. Just the desperate, the damned, and the dirt beneath their boots. Drink up. The road's about to get rough. SYSTEM: Frontier Scum is a fast and gritty tabletop RPG that puts the focus squarely on storytelling and action, making it the perfect system for high-stakes adventures in the wild and lawless West. Your wits, grit, and a roll of the dice determine your fate, as you carve your path to legend.

About me
"Grab a hot drink, a seat around the fire, and listen to my cowboy song." "Comfortable? Good! Now, before we get started, I want you all to know that I tell my tales for your enjoyment and pleasure... so please respect each other and don't enter this area if you desire to cause another harm. If someone's pain is your objective or entertains you... You won't make it past the opening credits of our story." [About me: Having been in (often teaching) the Arts for over 25 years, I really enjoy teaching, and I understand how and love to foster creativity in players!] --Experienced GM/DM/ST for roughly 35 years. I have professionally run hundreds of games over multiple systems. In that time, I have learned that it is the players' story and I am just here to facilitate that experience and make it run smoothly and be as entertaining as possible. I see game rules as a way to keep on track and involved...I never let them get in the way of creativity or the group's enjoyment! I came to StartPlaying looking to run some serious and/or seriously fun sessions. My story telling style is light and flows easy. I do not let the mechanics detract from the experience, but use them to enhance the story you want to be told! Teaching new systems to new players is an experience I enjoy. We were all new players, or new to a system at one time...and without kind and proper guidance we probably wouldn't still be involved in this amazing pastime! Roll well and see ya around!

How DuChampion (JJ) creates a safe table
This will be an open door game, if you need to take a break, for any reason, please do so!! All I ask, is if you can, please mute your mic so I know you are out (and if you can PM me what I need to change I will!!) -Any use of "out of character" Racism, Sexism, or Discrimination or Personal Attacks of any kind will get you banned. -Players who do these things repeatedly "in character" are discouraged/warned/and subject to being (quickly) kicked or banned. -If you do not follow the “Fade to Black” rule you will be kicked or banned. **Fade to Black Rule** During the game, if there is ever an event, situation, or anything that as a player makes you feel Please say “Fade to Black” (same as N card although sometimes I don't see the chat right away)and that scene will end. I will not ask, I will not judge, I will take control and respect this choice. No story is worth paining someone!
