About the adventure
A Gothic Horror Experience: It provides a moody, terrifying, and depressing atmosphere filled with zombies, werewolves, and vampires. Sandbox Campaign: Unlike linear stories, it offers a "sandbox" format, where players explore a cursed valley, choosing where to go to find allies and items. High-Stakes Challenge: Known for being challenging and potentially brutal (potential TPKs), it challenges players to be creative in overcoming a vampire lord. Unique Narrative Structure: The campaign uses the "Fortunes of Ravenloft" (a Tarokka deck card reading) to determine item locations, potential allies, and Strahd's location, making each playthrough unique. Character-Driven Play: The campaign focus is on fighting and defeating Count Strahd von Zarovich, who is often portrayed as an active, clever villain throughout the story
