About the adventure
Halifax by Night is a living campaign that takes place right in the heart of the Maritimes. A city where the Giovanni family reign supreme as the primary clan of the location. A city that has a tragic history and successful present is forced to deal with a new force that seeks to rend the city asunder. The Harbingers of Skull have come to Halifax to seek recompense for a blood-feud millennia in the making. They have recruited an impassioned sect of the Sabbat to create a diversion while they exact their revenge. The players will begin as a pack of newly embraced licks of the Sabbat who have one goal. Get in, grab the newly embraced Annamarie Giovanni; cause as much chaos on the way out. Then lay low while your pack priests and acquaintances in the Harbingers make the deals and terms of your hostage situation. Will the pack keep their hostage in check? Will the Camarilla's retaliation come for them; ending their nights then and there?

About me
I am a GM of 8 years. A semi-forever GM who plays once in a blue moon but runs things for his group most of the time. I have always enjoyed horror media, and so my start with tabletops was in 2019 with Call of Cthulhu. As I began to play it more and more I realized I wanted to learn how to GM it; and so I did. I loved investigative horror and most of my games stem from the experience of Call of Cthulhu. I want to be able to provide that awe experience I had playing CoC for the first time to others. I enjoyed the narrative elements of World of Darkness and that's what really stuck with me after my time with CoC. I did so on and off all throughout my University journey and even after. Throughout that time I have GM'd From Call of Cthluhu to Delta Green. Lancer to Mothership. I have GM'd several different World of Darkness lines (Mage, Wraith, Vampire and Werewolf). I have also started running Chronicles of Darkness and have interest in running more of it for more players. I am GM who loves to say 'yes and' and let in the collaborative experience of TTRPGs come to the center. I use theater of the mind a lot so I use maps less but I am not afraid to pull out a whiteboard (digital or not) to get my point across.

Creating your character
Character creation will occur in a session 0 (which will be free) where we will talk about player ideas and work on a unifying plot element to the party. We will use the 20th Anniversary of Vampire the Masquerade's core book to make characters.

What Vladimir brings to the table
I will have character art for every important character that you, the players will come up against. They will have unique personalities and challenge you to roleplay and immerse yourself in the world of darkness. There will be visuals to aid in the theatre of the mind I will utilize. However for more important moments there will be maps or drawings of the area to aid in visualization of combat.
Homebrew rules
We will be using the Dark Ages 20th Anniversary streamlined combat rules. This means that soak is a derived stat and not a roll. You will have a 'hard' soak which will be an amount of damage your character can take without needing armor. Armor affects this as well. A person can always make an attempt to dodge as well. There will be expanded combat rules that will allow for Combo Maneuvers where a Combo is a practiced series of moves. A sequence of maneuvers one performs in combat. The Thin Blood rules are in a document we will use as it brings Thin Blood alchemy into V20's timeline. I am working on a modified Blood Potency system from Vampire the Requiem and V5 back ported to V20. These rules will be discussed and we can always modify the homebrew to fit our group.
