About the adventure

Whether Chicago is seen as a prime example of a successful Camarilla metropolis or an Anarch-ridden breeding ground, it cannot escape the changing times of the Kindred world. As the Camarilla strengthens its redoubt to hinder the Second Inquisition’s intrusion, the Gehenna Crusade rages in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East; clans must reform or face destruction. The year is 2019, and Chicago is on the edge of a great change. Clan Lasombra is one clan that understands that adaptation and change are needed to survive in this new, modern world, and whispers move through the Windy City that a new age of the Night Clan is coming. 'The Sacrifice' allows players to play through the historic moment of Clan Lasombra's induction into the Camarilla, and even have a say in what happens. Play as Camarilla, Anarchs, or even Autarkis, as you become embroiled in age old tensions, and the world of Kindred politics. -- This short chronicle will take place over 8-12 sessions (with wriggle room on either side), starting with a sandbox-style prologue to help the characters get to know one another, which will then lead into The Sacrifice and end at the end of the story, with room for a session or two for an epilogue to allow characters to settle. Personal stories are what shine in Vampire : The Masquerade, and I want each character to feel as though they have a place in Chicago, around the bounds of the short story. Any level of experience is welcome! I love new players and introducing them to the world and rules just as much as meeting experienced players.
