About the adventure
An old-school dungeon crawl, in a grimdark setting - made by none other than Kelsey Dionne, herself - Doom in the Red Wastes is a level 4 adventure, where you'll turn a deadly trap - made by a sadistic sorcerer - into a giant loot run. Navigate your way through a perilous menagerie. Outwit or outfight your captors - and you just might outlive them. ABOUT THE GAME: A one-shot dungeon crawl hosted on Foundry and video (or just audio) chat on Discord. Experienced or new players welcome, but you'll need to make (or have) one or two level 4 characters at the ready. Shadowdark is a grim and challenging system where you (not your sheet) are your character's saving grace. It's simple, easy to learn, and fun! ABOUT LAWFUL CHERRY: A dutiful storyteller who offers reliable, paid one-shots and campaigns, with a high focus on horror and immersion. If you're here for great stories told through a collaborative and immersive experience, I'm your man. My campaigns are full of cinematic twists and turns, modern and unforgettable villains, and some intense roleplay. I'm a reliable and professional storyteller, with over 20 years experience GMing. I love the immersion that Foundry provides, so you can expect better music / cooler maps / minis from my games. I've been running games for 20 years, and have recently fallen in love with the Shadowdark system. So risk & reward is very prominent at my table. Expect lots of rolls and dark corners to explore. You'll need at least one level 4 character, for this adventure. If you don't already have them, head on over to www.shadowdarklings.net and make two.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
When you're finished, making your characters on shadowdarklings, export them to JSON files (the bottom of the page shows you how to do that), and throw them into the discord, along with character images.

Homebrew rules
We'll be running on Pulp Mode, which entails: • There are no maximum luck tokens a player can have. • Players start every session with 1d4 luck tokens. • You can use a luck token to turn a hit into a critical hit. • You can use a luck token to take an extra action. • You can use a luck token to force the GM to reroll a roll.
